Band

This was Isaah's first Band concert. He plays the Alto Saxophone. In our middle school you either have the choice to do band or orchestra. I am actually surprised at how in such a short time he can actually play something that I can tell is a song and not just an animal dying. He did a great job. You can just see the top of his head on the 3rd row from the back. I couldn't get the video of him playing to load.

Reindeer Run

The girls had a Reindeer Run at school on Thursday. They had been practicing and were so excited for it. I wasn't sure if I wasn't going to have winners or not, I had an idea that I would have 1 maybe 2. I was so excited when they all three came home winners. They had winners for the 5 fastest boys and girls in each grade. Paige came in 1st place and Talli came in 3rd place for the 1st grade girls. Madi came in 3rd for the 3rd graders (she has had a sore ankle for the last month and it's still hurting, she informed me that if it wasn't for that she would have been 1st because she usually is. That made me laugh). So proud of my fast girls.

Picture

I wanted a family picture for our Christmas card this year. I didn't know it was going to be so hard to get. I wanted to get pictures done in the fall leaves but didn't make it up to UT to get it done. So I had two different friends just take some for us with my camera. The first day Paige was bond and determined she was not getting pictures done. She cried the whole time, needless to say that is why we had to go back and do them again. The second time my tween was goofier than goofy. If he wasn't tickling his sisters he was being crosseyed. I have some great friends to put up with my crazy's though and we did get a few keepers. The twins... My girls love their skinny jeans and boots.

This one is from our 2nd day of pictures. Everyone one was happy... some a little to happy and goofy.
This is from the first day. You can actually see Paiges face in this one. Yes that is a frown. Did you notice the nice bunny ears behind my head. I had 3 different pictures of these.

Choir

Madi deceided to do the Children's Choir at school this year. She loves it. This is one of their Christmas performances. They are warming up for there performance in this one. The one above is her doing her reading part. They did a great job

HaHa

Last night I came home and saw three kids Isaah knew walking past our house. About 5 minutes later the door bell rings, I told Isaah it was his friends but when him and I got to the door nobody was there. Our dog loves to greet people at the door by loudly barking, but since no one was there Isaah said "Go, get im". Off she ran around the side of the house barking like crazy after them (she doesn't bite, she just likes to scare you). Those three boys ran and we laughed and laughed. After ward Isaah went out and talked to them. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. They did try it again about 5 mins. later and ran into the middle of the street this time and had fun with the dog and Isaah.

The Phantom

We were able to go see The Phantom of the Opera at the Venetician with Jenni and Ashley. It was an early bday present for Jenni, (her bday was the next day), they flew in that day and flew out early the next morning. Wish they could have stayed longer. We had such a good time for our girls night. We walked and walked and walked around Vegas. We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe, saw the water show at the Bellagio, and took pictures of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris. The Phantom was AMAZING. We had great seat and loved every minute of it. As soon as it was over Madi turned to me and said "Can we watch it again?". I think that is how we all felt!
Waiting for our yummy dinner to arrive. The girls were so giggly and excited.
Who can resist dessert? We ordered two and shared them. The one with the strawberry sauce was by far the favorite.
We were in Paris for a few minutes.

El Paso Trip

Chad had a long overnight in El Paso on the weekend, which doesn't happen very often. We took advantage and flew down and met him there. The three girls had never flown on a flight with Chad flying before. They were so excited because Chad was flying us back to Vegas. We swam indoors and sat in the hot tub outside. Then we walked over to Applebee's for dinner. We had to wake up very early in the morning so we ended up just watching some TV in the room after. Which the kids loved anyway. They had lots of fun. Thanks Southwest for the great overnight.
The twins first time in the cockpit with Chad.
Madi in the cockpit

Lounging in the very comfortable pool chairs. They loved these and think we need some at our house.
In the courtyard at the hotel waiting for Chad
Just hanging out in the room. The room had sleep number beds and they thought it was pretty cool. They all had to take turns playing with the bed.

Halloween

This Halloween was a crazy one. I ended up being sick so Chad had to go to the school for the parade, to drop of treats and make sure kids got ready. Poor Paige came home from school right after the parade because she was sick. (She threw up all over the just remodeled school office/carpet). She wanted to try and go trick or treating and made it an hour, then she was done and was sad because she hadn't even eaten any of her candy. This was the first year Isaah got to go trick or treating with his friends without supervision. Pretty cool being a middle schooler, right. We had some great friends take the girls out while Chad handed out candy. In the middle of the night Talli woke up sick. It was definetly a memorable night.
All of our scarey jack o lanterns.

Paige as a Pirate. She started out being a cheerleader and at the last minute decided to be a pirate.
Talli is the Vampire
Isaah the Tooth bandit. This is what happens when he raids his sisters closet. He did win the most unusual costume in the 6th grade.
Madi decided to be a baby. Note the babybottle.

Wow! Their 7

I can't believe that my babies are 7 this year. Holy Cow! They are two cuties that I love to death. They each have their own little quirks that make you smile. Paige is my fashion diva, she comes up with some cute/interesting outfits and likes her accesories. She is also my very social and impatient child. Her and her dad have quite the funny relationship going on right now. Talli likes to be in gym shorts and a tshirt, she is my laidback child. She is also my right hand helper, who is always right there to help me and loves to give kisses. They both love playing outside. Talli loves lego's and Paige loves her AG doll. This year we had a family party and surprised them by going to the Children's Musuem and then Chuck E Cheese. It was a fun day for all.
So excited to get money so they could buy the dsi they have been saving up for.

They got seats for their dolls for their bday.
Isaah and Madi working hard to get the giant bubble to cover them.
The Tornado. The winds get up to 75 mph. They love it.
Isaah in his element building a contraption for the golf balls to go through.
We went to Chuck E Cheese after. The kids had so much fun. Chad hit the jackpot on one and this is the most tickets he ever won at one time. Paige had given him the token so she got the tickets. They were so excited.

Fun house mirrors
Who doesn't love the bubbles? One of the favorites

Movie Night

Last weekend Chad let the kids invite some neighbors over and have a movie night out under the carport. The kids loved it and wanted to do it again. So this is the crew for this weekend. 18 little munchins, watching Halloween movies. It's almost all the neighborhood kids. They are already planning for next week.

alien annie

Isaah had to dress up Annie with the girls birthday hats.

Labor Day

Jody, Colby, and Kenley came down to go boating over Labor Day. The kids loved having Kenley over. We had a great day at the lake and love visitors.
Madi wakeboarding with Chad

Kenley had just learned to smile
Kenley Chillaxin in the life jacket. What a great boater.:)
The tube riders. Madi and Talli would ride this all day if we let them.

Bear Lake

Somehow I forgot to post this after our pictures of our hike. I didn't realize until Isaah and I were looking for memories of this summer for a paper he had to write. When we were up to Ut we took a trip to Bear Lake with Juli, Darci, Jody and some of their friends. The kids had a blast. Talli wanted to stay and sleep there because it was so fun. They built stuff in the sand and played in the water. The water was so high you could walk out forever on what used to be the beach. Darci hanging out in the water with the kids
The kiddo's working hard on something in the sand
Isaah was building a moat. Ryan was watching with great interest, when Isaah would scoop a big handful of sand out Ryan would throw a handful in. It was pretty funny.
A close up of the headstones Isaah made
The grave yard the kids made in the sand. Notice they all have headstones.
Paige enjoying the water
Darci brought friend who had a daughter Madi's age. They became bff's and had lot's of fun together.
Baby Kenley enjoying her first time at Bear Lake.
