1st Day of School

My elementary kids
Isaah, the big 6th grader/middle schooler
Madi being silly, but so excited to start 3rd grade
Paige was the first one up this morning of the girls. An hour before she had to wake up. This girl is ready for 1st grade
Talli couldn't wait to go to school. When we got there her and Paige played on the playground. Poor Talli had so much fun on the monkeybars she tore a calus off and we had to go get a bandaid. She was happy it wasn't on her right hand though. The twins are in the same class this year and all the kids have good teachers so we hope it wil be a good year.

End of summer fun

The last week or so of summer we tried to fit in a little bit of everything. Chad took the kids to the Mesquite pool, we spent some time at the lake and we went up to Cedar City. While we were in Cedar City we went up to Duck Creek and fished. Isaah was reeling them in left and right (for some reason I don't have pictures). Nobody else was that lucky. We spent the night in a hotel in Cedar City which the kids thought was so cool and swam in the hotel pool. It was a nice way to end the summer.Chad bought a spear gun this year and he has loved using it. He enjoys this kind of fishing.
Paige doing a front flip. One time on the lake we were doing front flip, back flips, and just enjoying jumping off. Couldn't resist it.
Paige doing a cartwheel off.
Chad's front flip
One of Talli's backflips
Couldn't resist this on of Paige
Talli wakeboarding with Chad. Madi also wakeboarded with Chad but it is just on video. I was driving so I didn't get a good picture of her.

hiking

We spent a day with Jenni and Ashley on one of our trips to Ut this summer. They took us on a fun hike to Battle Creek Falls and then went back to their house to race the wagon down the hill and visit. We had lots of fun. Thanks for a great day Jen.
Paige and Isaah crossing the stream
Isaah loved the water fall. He went over and got right under the water fall and was totally wet from the spray.
Isaah being Tarzan.
All the kids made the hike over to the other side to get closer to the waterfall.
Playing the inch worm game acrross the log. This is how the less brave made their way across the other side.

crawdading in Strawberry

Shawn and Isaah
Isaah with a bunch. My dad said it was a successful fishing trip, to bad we all we caught were crawdads. The kids loved it though.
The kids working on catching crawdads while Annie worked on the crawdad cage
Talli by the crawdad holder they made.
Paige caught this crawdad on the fishing pole, carried it over to me then it fell off. She tried to get it to catch the hook again but it wouldn't. She wouldn't pick it up to move it back over to the water.

more summer fun

Paige enjoying the boat ride
A coyote we saw come down for a drink. We have seen turtles, coyotes, big horn ship this summer.
Talli doing a dance on the tube
Talli enjoying Lake Mead
Madi with some friends on the tube this summer. I love their faces

Reunion

We were all able to meet while Dawn was up from TX. It was fun to be together and we spend about 6 hours at the park/splash pad. We had lots of fun and can't believe how big all the kids are getting. We wish Dawn lived closer so we could do it more often.
The Pilot's wife's club.
The oldest and the youngest (for a few months) of the kiddo's. Hard to believe Ashley just turned 12 and Kenley is almost 3 months old. Wow! And to think all of this craziness started that long ago.
Hayden, Talli and Ashley taking a break form the splash pad
Madi and one of her bff's Kya. (I know I mess that name up, spelling wise). Madi has a love for kids 3 and under and would sometimes prefer to play with them than kids her own age. She is great with them.
A baby bird the girls found and were taking care of.

Idaho

We made our annual trip to Idaho for the 4th of July. We had lots of fun visiting with family and playing. The weather was perfect for playing outside, minus a few mosquito's bites we had lots of fun. The kids love playing with their cousins and visiting with their grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Playing on the sandy beach at Dirkes Lakes. Nobody really swam but they watched the fished and played in the sand.
Isaah and Annie out for a spin on the Snake River. This was Annie's first boat ride and she loved it.

Madi's big accomplishment on this trip was learning to blow bubbles. Grandma Terri taught her and she spent the rest of the trip blowing bubbles. This was at blue heart springs

Hanging out in the ice cold water on blue heart springs. Isaah was off exploring, he was to busy for pictures.

We also went and saw the Shoshone Falls and the Twin Falls. This was the Shoshone Falls.

They didn't have the fish scramble this year but Isaah and Paige did the fireman competition with Jorden and Jazmyn. They went against a group of bigger kids and almost beat them. Paige ready for action.

Let the war begin.

Playing in the pond at G. Bernies with cousins Terrance and Teegan.

Blowing giant bubbles was fun for all the kids. They got these in their scavenger hunt buckets

All the cousins. Isaah, Terrance Teegan, Talli (Bottom left to right) Jazmyn, Jorden, Madi, Kemorahle, Paige and then Japheth, Samathana and Phoniex (I am not sure on the twin boys, I may have got them switch, darn identical twins :) ).

Playing on the boathouse in the pond.

The girls running the ship

At the parade.

They threw this raft to Isaah during the parade. He was so excited!!
