Twenty Five

Sunday was my 25th birthday. Obviously Kristian wasn't able to spend it with me, so on Friday he sent me flowers at work and a large display of balloons that all say " I Love You" ... I think he made his point. ( He was upset at the flowers that was sent... He told the florist that he wants 4 dozen hot pink roses... I am really hoping that he doesn't re-do it.)

So needless to say... things are going great with us. I really cant wait until he is back from Iraq and done with the ARMY... and moving to Utah -for me. :)

A Blast from the Past.

Maybe easiest way to start this is to give you a little bit of a history update. So in 2005 I was practically engaged to this man Kristian Idell we had met a few months before he was deployed to South Korea.

After his stent in South Korea he came out to Utah to spend two weeks with me before he was supposed to go to Ft.Hood in Texas in liue of being sent of to Iraq for who knows how long. Seriously the BEST two weeks of my life was when he was here. What I didn't know was that while I was at work he had already showed my mom the ring he already bought me. For 2 weeks this ring was under my nose. ( He thought I would snoop through his bag... so he hid the ring in MY DRESSER) well anyway I never got to see that ring.

So now he was gone and was in Ft. Hood. I stopped hearing from him we eventually broke up in pretty much the most insane way. It was completly unexpected. During all of this my mom was telling me that he was just scared because he getting ready to go to war. So like a week later I started dating Kyle Jones and was with him for almost 3 years.

Well over a year ago I had sent Kristian and email telling him I knew why he did what he did and that I forgave. To let him know that durning that time I really wasn't ready to be a military wife. I never heard back from him. So I forgot all about him ok not really but I tried to.

In the last week I started thinking about him more and more and then Friday night I checked my email and there was an email from him.
We talked for almost 38 hours straight, and all of those feeling just came back up agian more intense then before. It has been almost 4 years. He had been keeping tabs on me through my un private myspace pages * when I had them and then through my facebook. At the end of the month he gets to leave Iraq for 15 days, but he has to stay in Texas.
I know this is horrible, but even during my relationship with Kyle I would always compare how different they were. Crazy talk huh? He now says he was stupid for what happened .. .I aggrred :) but in all reality at 21 I was no where near ready to be married to anyone especially to someone in Iraq. He gets to leave Iraq hopefully for good in the Spring. And will be completely DONE with the ARMY in Aug 2010. And I have agreed to allow him to make things up to me and prove everything else to me.

News

1. New Job --- I am currently now working for Jordan River Family Medicine, I have to admit I really did miss working in a private practice. The doctor that I work with is simply amazing.

2. New Car ---- Lets just say that the damage I caused for my lil tracer wasn't even worth me fixing. ( It was my first car and I had it since I was 16 .... so being almost 25 now ... pretty good I'd say. ) I now have a nifty lil Honda Accord and I am totally in like with :)

3. New apartment ...... well almost, I am sick of where I currently live and the 30 illegals that live under me. It't not cool to come home and see little boys using the restroom where ever they feel like it. Or when you ask the parents of the children to keep a better eye on them because its 11 pm and their 3 year old darted out in the middle of the street and you almost hit them. Or when they conveintly drop a bucket of screws into your parking spot without warning you or even picking them up, and you end up with 17 screws imedded into your tire and they tell you " not my problem" Yep ... I would say it is your problem when I call INS and the fire department tomorrw and child services tomorrow morning.
* and all of this is just from Friday ... Welcome to the new Ghetto of Sandy, Utah *

The Climb

Okay so I will be the first to admit that I can't stand the whole tween music crap that is out there being overplayed. Honestly there have been times I have wanted to punch Miley Cyrus in the freaking face. BUT!!! I am sooo digging this song like A LOT A LOT.

I can almost see it
That dream I'm dreaming but
There's a voice inside my head sayin,
You'll never reach it,
Every step I'm taking,
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking but I
Got to keep trying
Got to keep my head held high

There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes I'm gonna to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb

The struggles I'm facing,
The chances I'm taking
Sometimes might knock me down but
No I'm not breaking
I may not know it
But these are the moments that
I'm going to remember most yeah
Just got to keep going
And I,
I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on, cause

There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes I'm gonna to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb (yeah)

There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose,
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb (yeah yeah)

Keep on moving
Keep climbing
Keep the faith baby
It's all about
It's all about
The climb
Keep the faith
Keep your faith

Whoa a oh oh

So random I am not EVeN kidding!!

You know how there are always big forks and small forks and then big spoons and little spoons in a silverware set? I have no problem using big or little forks... it doesn't matter... but I HAVE to have the little spoon. So much so, that if the only thing that is clean in a big spoon, I'll use a measuring spoon instead... PSYCHO! Oh and my little brother doesn't care what he uses to eat... he eats cereal with forks if that is the first thing he finds... what???
Why do we all have these funky quirks... I wonder if they are built into our brain or if a situation happened to us at one time that developed it.. I'm sure someone knows. Like
Speaking of weird... I have a friend who used to melt gummy worms and bears in an old school Tupperware plastic measuring cup before he ate them. I won't say his name but it rhymes with Quody Quorvin...

DONCHA FART

So you know sometimes when you are on the internet doing something, one of those word verification things pops up that makes you prove you aren't a computer? The ones that are regular words but all skewed and stretched and you have to turn your head or squint or something to read it and still you are like... WHAT THE HECK DOES THIS SAY?!?! Well I just got one of those and it said DONCHA FART.....um, seriously? Classy I know, but I had to share...

Flashback Friday.. I stole a Chicken

I like when other people do Flashback Friday's on their blog, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Plus it's a good way to get my old pictures scanned, eh??? So for my PREMIERE of "Flashback Friday" I will start with a doozie... I was thinking about this yesterday and laughing my butt off in the car.

..Once upon a time I stole a chicken. A REAL LIVE chicken. I was 20, crazy, and obviously above the law. :) My two super hot friends Funny and Shag we my partners in crime and for that I will always love them!!! We knew this guy with a chicken coop in his backyard, so after dinner one night we got all dressed in black with dark makeup and then blasted crazy kid rock music all the way to the street where the infamous chicken coop was. We parked our car about 5 houses down and snuck through peoples yards all until we got to this guys yard...we literally army crawled past open windows and sprinted down this hill to where the chicken coop was. We stood outside the coop for a good 10 minutes hiding in the bushes while we saw lights flipping on and off in the house. Not to mention, laughing hysterics because our silly idea had actually turned into reality and we were now hiding in someones back yard about to steal their livestock. One of my favorite parts of the night is when my friend, Funny, got really mad because we all (including her) couldn't stop laughing and get down to business. She was whisper yelling at us " Girls!!! We are in someones backyard, dressed in black!!! This is scary...GRAB THE CHICKEN!" So all the sudden my friend Shag goes full speed ahead into the coop...we hear an ERUPTION of bocking and clucking and then 2 seconds later she comes running out clutching this poor defenseless chicken and yells RUN!!!!! So we book it back to the car, set the chicken in the trunk, and put the peddle to the metal. We ended up just hanging out with the chicken for a while...then we surprised a bunch of our guy friends by throwing open the door to their apartment, while they were on the couch watching tv, and tossing the chicken into their living room. I have yet to see something that compares to the looks on their faces as they jumped up on the couches and started yelling... hahaha. I'm laughing so hard in real life right now!! haha. At the end of the night.... we took the chicken back home and I'm sure he had tons of stories to tell all his little chicken friends about his wild night out on the town... I haven't stolen...well more like borrowed...any fowl feathered friends since and I don't plan to ever come out of retirement :) (please notice my black O.J. simpson gloves grasping the chicken... mama din't raise no fool, okay???? I'm not about to leave my prints on that chicken!!)

Lady you just got Schooled...

So the other night I went to Target to get a precription filled. As I am waiting I go walk around the isles and I see a little girl sprinting circles around her mom's cart. I'm guessing that the girl was about 5ish and I giggled cause I had flashbacks of grocery shopping with my mom at that age and driving her nuts, and then cringed at the thought of grocery shopping with a child when they are that age. :) Anyways... so the little girl is sprinting around the cart and accidentally knocks two boxes of cereal off the shelf. So her mom, looking and sounding fabulously frazzled says, and I quote " Britney! You are pissin' me off. If you don't cut the crap, you are gonna be a sad little girl" I immediately averted my eyes, cause this lady was reeeeally mad. I walked by kind of fast just in time to hear sweet sweet little Britney say...again I QUOTE " Mom, I don't think think that's how Jesus would talk to me, do you??" um....WHAT? I basically broke into a sprint at that point just in time to turn the corner and die of laughter right in the middle of the store. WWJD ya'll!!!!

PSA#3 Parking Lot Maddness

Park inbetween the lines. Not on top of them.I know, I know, it gets confusing... but you should have one line to the left and one line to the right and ZERO lines under your car.

Promise.
