Art time

As mentioned earlier... it has been a HOT summer! So, we have to get creative. The boys love art time! Thomas has acquired a new love for scissors and cutting things, painting and drawing. If only there was enough space on the fridge for all of his art work!!

Henry loves drawing just as much... the problem with Henry however is that he colors on whatever he can find! Lately I have found crayon all over my furniture, marker on the way, and his recent favorite is coloring on himself. My little boy will be covered in marker all over his face, legs and arms and feet. What a little stink!

Any excuse to get good and dirty sounds good to me!

Happy 4th!!

I have to say that that Independence Day is one of my very favorite holidays. Who can resist the BBQs, fireworks, parades, good company and great entertainment? This year we went to a BBQ at one of our friend's house where we did our own fireworks. And then the next night we ventured down to the Arch to listen to the concert going on there and watch the big fireworks over the Mississippi. Good times as always!

Henry was a little timid at first, but soon acquired the same love for fireworks as his brother.

Thomas couldn't get enough of it!!

Eventually the sparklers were all gone and he got to just sit and watch with mom.
