Mei is 2!

I can't believe my baby isn't a baby anymore! Mei turned 2 in Utah. We celebrated up American Fork canyon with other extended Dibb family members.
While Mei is my "clingy" child she's really come out of her shell this past year. I remember she started stranger anxiety at 4 months- while she's still weary of strangers she's able to warm up to someone more quickly now. Mei is by far our biggest child out of 4 kids at the 2 yr mark. Just over this past month she's really taken to talking...we're getting a lot of sentences now. "Mommy I love you" & "I don't like this song" & "Mina's not sharing" & "Mommy, I poo-poo'd" are some common sentences. She's also developed a nice little attitude and doesn't let her sisters push her around. But she loves her sisters...she only wants Kaiya to put her to bed when there's a babysitter. And, she gets so excited when it's time to pick up her sisters from school. I'm predicting she'll be my earliest to potty train b/c she already wakes up dry and tells us as she's messing her diaper that she's messing her diaper...I probably could toilet train now but I'm not ready!

We just love having Mei in our home!

More Utah Happenings (after Brian arrives)

Hooray, Brian made it to Utah! More random fun happenings:

Went to dinner with Brian's friends from high school.
Brian's friends married some great gals- we always have fun when getting together!
Enjoying a proper, thick shake from JCW's. Funny story, Brian asked the girls "who wants shakes?" and Emiko answered "what's a shake?" Emiko's been in Australia too long...we couldn't believe she didn't know what a shake was!
We visited the new aquarium in Draper!
Hiking Timpanogos Caves with the extended Lee family:
Awesome selfie pic of Mei with her cousin, Brianna!
At the new & improved Bean Museum at BYU...inside the biggest elevator I've ever seen- about 20 Dibb's with plenty of room to spare!
Dibb cousin silly photo (at Bean Museum)
No visit to Utah would be complete without a trip to Cabela's.
Lehi Rodeo! It was cold/rainy but the girls loved it! (No idea where Utah summer was that day...)

Utah Happenings (before Brian arrived)

It's been 1.5 yrs since we've been in the states. We had a lot of fun during the 2 weeks before Brian was able to join us. There are so many photos to share...in no particular order:

Jet lag took a good week to get over...glad the iPad could entertain Mei at 2:30 am (instead of me).
The same iPad caused this injury- poor Mei.
Mei's first creamie popsicle!
Brian's cousin was murdered 2 years ago when she was only 6 yrs old. We met up with extended family at a new park built in her honor. It is one of the coolest parks we've been too...highly recommend it to those living close by.
New PJ's for #3 and #4
Out to lunch with Kirsten- we've been friends for 25 yrs and I just love her!
Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point...very cool but crazy crowded...like fire code breaking crowded.
Pool time!
It snowed in the mountains...in June! It was colder in Utah than in Perth!
