Fall Festival...

Last night was Ellies school "Fall Festival". It was filled with food, games, prizes, music and fun. Aunt Liz joined us which was so awesome because we ALL love Aunt Liz. Ellie got her hair spray painted hot pink which was exciting! The kids loved the fishing booth and were able to get some fun bracelets and Slinky's. Their favorite was the game where you throw a ping pong ball into a glass jar of water. Ellie and Scot both made it and so they got the best prize ever........ A REAL LIVE FISH! So, we came home with 2 fish and now are headed off to buy some fish food. The fish's names keep changing, so for now I'm calling them Ernie and Bert. We'll see how long these fish can last in our family. =)

A prince and his princess.....

Yesterday we had Scot's little friend Morgan over to play. I walked in and overheard the following discussion:

Morgan: I'm the princess and Scot- you're my prince

Scot: Okay, then we have to be married (big grin on his face)

Morgan: Then we have to dance

So, the dancing went on for a few minutes. Then I heard this:

Morgan: Scot, we have to kiss too!

Then, Scot got his toy drill (which he uses for a gun) and shot her.

So much for Happy Endings!!! =)

Beach time...

We took advantage of Elliots time off which was finally not interrupted by court.... and we went camping. We took Ellie out of school (what great parents we are) and took off to our favorite spot. It was like being at our own private beach which was AWESOME! The weather cooperated and we had some great family time together!

Go Tigers....

Today was Scotty's first official soccer game. For the first 10 minutes, he wanted absolutely nothing to do with soccer. He sat with me and told me he was not playing.... and boy did he mean it. Thankfully, his coach is very patient and understanding. Then, his daddy was able to make a surprise visit to his game. When he talked to Scot and mentioned there would be no video game playing later if he didn't play soccer, then Scot stood up and said, "I'll play goalie". So, he went right in and played for the rest of the game. He was smiling and having fun out there too. It's funny to think what a little enticing will do (especially if it means playing video games). =) Scot was a great goalie and it was fun to watch his team "The Tigers" play. Now that we're home- any guesses as to what Scot is doing? =)

Before & After....

Before... After...
The girls wanted me to braid their hair Saturday night so it would be curly for church on Sunday. They loved the results!

Little Spider.....

I walked out into the dining room to find this.... hanging in the doorway. He has a special talent (and sticky feet too). It's his new favorite thing to do. Watch out if he comes to your house.... you might find him hanging in your doorway too!

Finally..... It's OUT!

Seriously, Ellie's top front tooth has been loose for a few months (Really). She has really become a stubborn girl and would not let Elliot or I pull it (believe me- we tried). Today, as she was eating her sandwich- she yelled "Mom, it came out". She spit out her food (along with her tooth) and started jumping up and down. It was a very happy moment! As you can see in the picture, her other tooth had already started to grow in. Now- we just need to work on the other 3 that are loose. =) Wish us luck!
