New Pool...

Do you love our new pool...... I was thinking maybe something a little larger and maybe cleaner... but this will have to do.
Actually, we have been pounded this last week with major wind and rain and this is the result in our backyard. The kids (and the dog) seemed to enjoy it! =)

Fun with Lucy...

Our new dog Lucy has brought lots and lots of laughs to our house, as well as entertainment and luvs. Ell and Scot went shopping the other day and came home with a fun gadget..... a LASER! She could play for hours with that thing. She doesn't seem to get tired or bored with it. I think its the best when she goes in circles over and over. Its been so great. The kids have really enjoyed having her. They are much more brave now when we see a new dog somewhere. In fact, Macie wanted to go pet a dog she saw when we were playing in the snow... and before Lucy- that NEVER would have happened. So, you could say Lucy has changed our lives for the better. We love having her around. She is a great dog and the kids don't seem to be as bored as they were before. Whenever they don't know what to do or play with- then Lucy is always their first choice. Who knew that having a dog would be so great while having little kids. We should have done this a long time ago! =)

Sunbeam...

Look who is a SUNBEAM..... Yesterday was Macie's first day of Sunbeams at church... which means she gets to join the world of the "older" kids in Primary. She has been so excited for this day. All week Ellie and Scot would say to Macie, "Guess what, on Sunday- you get to be a Sunbeam!" and she would reply (not so nicely), "I know, stop saying that!" =)
But really, she was excited. She walked right in and hesitated for about 1 second. Then sat down in her seat and I didn't see her until 2 hours later. Its great because she has her friend Mazzie's mom as a teacher..... so she is excited about that. Her teacher also gave her the cutest necklace that says I am a Child of God and she wears it VERY proudly.
This was a big day in her life and I'm so excited that she accepted it willingly.
(Note: my other two fabulous children on the day they went into Sunbeams didn't really make it a very enjoyable day. They cried and made sure I stayed with them for a few months in class.)
So, this was a proud day for me as well, as my little baby joined the big world! =)
Way to go Macie Moo-- We love YOU!
