12/21/15

Dear Cameron,

You are growing up so fast.  You still seem to amaze me with your smarty personality.  You are a genius! You are now five years old…and can add/subtract. You enjoy learning.  We are still trying to get you to enjoy being a little boy and just play with regular toys… lol You love calculators and enjoy anything with numbers… You are very smart in school and enjoy being around your teacher and classmates.  You are overly competitive and always strive to do better….and do anything to win. LOL (yes you are a cheater and sore loser…lol) You are great with correcting us especially on pronunciation.  Yes you recently corrected me when I said the number 10 (ten) as tin. You made sure your dad and I both understood it’s pronounced with an “e” not an “i”.  You love your little brother and takes care of him.  If he wants McDonald…you will keep nagging us to go by there…you even tell him to do the sad face.  LOL

You are very energetic and full of life.  You keep us on our toes.  You are a daddy’s boy.  You would rather hang out with him…even though you have my personality.  You are me made over…my mini twin. You are showing an interest in different languages and I am introducing you to Spanish…so let’s see how this goes.  I enjoy your crafts/art that you make for my office.  I have plenty to showcase.  You are very outgoing and don’t mind being first when in front of an audience.  Not shy at ALL!  You are very articulate. You tell everyone and I mean everyone our birthdays/ages.  You talk a lot… LOL – the only time you shut up is when you are asleep…LOL   I am so proud that you are my son.  You are going to be a smart young man and I pray that God allows me to see who/what you become as an adult. Your little quirky smile always brighten my heart.  I am so proud of you and blessed to have you as my first son.

Love you will all of me. You are perfect in every way.

Mommy

Dear Caleb…my sweet Caleb,

You are such a big boy.  You are 3 years old now.  You absolutely love your mommy.  You are fully potty trained and will start school in January 2016 (Pre K4).  For your 3rd birthday you wanted the Batman theme at Chuck E. Cheese.  You had a blast! You were so cute rocking your Batman shirt.  You have such a calm spirit and is very obedient.  You are not at the point of wanting to learn like your big brother but you have a creative, adventurous side. You love to “collect” things and take them to bed with you.  It could be mini trucks…mini action figures…large action figures…or just paper or a towel.  You are so cute looking for them in the middle of the night.  You have this obsession with garbage trucks…Yes garbage trucks.  You have about 6 of them now and are getting more from Santa this year.  LOL-- You get up every Friday requesting to watch them pick up our trash. You even ask Granny to go by the “dump” to speak to the workers to give them a high 5!  You think they are the best! Well, you love their trucks. LOL

You are such a big boy and I love you dearly.  You are going through this phase that you want kisses when I leave the house.  You want hundreds of them….and I do my best to give you what you want every morning even if you are asleep. (Yes you have me running “later” for work…but it is so worth it)  You cry or have the sad face when I leave – you watch me drive off from the kitchen window or the front door.  You often act as though you will not see me later…now that breaks my heart and I always say to you that I will do my very best…my all to get back to you after work.  I love you dearly and your actions daily allow me to see and feel that you truly love your Mommy - ME!  You don’t mind playing alone and you love your big brother.  You guys fight often…but that’s what boys do.    It was so cute and brave for you to admit when you do wrong.  Just yesterday, you and your brother were playing in some water…wet up the kitchen bad!  Once you realized you both were about to get a whooping, you said…I will go first.  Now, you have not gotten a whooping from me before to this level…but you took the whooping like a champ.  I am very proud that you then apologized and changed your clothes just as I requested.  You are such a good boy…and I am so very proud of you.  I am so blessed to have this handsome, witty, passionate, and loving little boy in my life.  Oh by the way, since you love super heroes so much…we are going to see them live January 2nd.  You don’t know yet…it’s a Christmas present.…and you already have your Iron Man costume from Halloween…(yep… you request to wear it daily…LOL)  I love you with every beat of my heart and every breath that I take.  You are my perfect little boy.  I love you!
