Capturing December - Day 29

Early Christmas

We had a sort of early Christmas over at Grandma and Grandpa's over the weekend. I guess it was a good thing we did that since Grandma ended up getting sick and they couldn't come over on Christmas day. Luke enjoyed opening all of his gifts from them.

Whenever I told him to hold up his gifts and smile for me, he gave me this face.

Thieves

Some jerks stole part of our outdoor Christmas decorations last weekend. There used to be 5 of these large, colored light bulbs, but last year Luke accidentally broke a blue one when he was helping us put everything away. And now the green one was stolen!

Mark and I were watching a movie and at around 10pm we heard a car idling outside for a while. Mark looked out the front door window and just saw a car pulling away and someone running after the car. Then he went outside to see what was going on, and he noticed that the bulb from our decoration had been unscrewed and taken. So, I guess we just won't be using them from now on because 3 lights just look ridiculous. It makes me mad that someone would actually do that. I hope karma bites them in the ass.

Capturing December - Day 28

Zodo's

Grandpa's company holiday party was at Zodo's last week and we met them there so Luke could go bowling and play in the arcade.

He's gotten a lot better at Skeeball, and he keeps asking to go back to play it more.

Capturing December - Day 24

I didn't really take any pictures on Christmas Eve, so I just used one Mark took when he walked with the kids to the school to play. It was nice seeing Luke playing with cousins on Christmas Eve though.

Capturing December - Day 21

Winter sing

Last week Luke's school had a potluck lunch and then the kids sang a few songs. His teachers said Luke had been really into the singing and everything all week when they had practiced. But then the day of their performance, Luke didn't really do much. I think he just got shy having us there.

After their performance, we stayed for a little bit and Luke showed us some of his basketball skills.

And then he showed us how he can ride around on the bike like a maniac. Haha.

Family photos

Just a couple extra photos at Stow House when we took our picture for our Christmas card.

(Wasn't really taken today, but that's OK – it was still recent)

Capturing December - Day 11

Gangnam Style

Mark played the Gangnam Style music for fun over at Grandma and Grandpa's one time and Luke was kind of dancing to the beat, so I said we should show him the video so he could see the actual dance. Ever since then, he asks to see "dance" so he can watch it and do the dance. Haha.

And I saw on JibJab that they had a Gangnam Style card, and I couldn't resist putting Luke's face in there.

Capturing December - Day 4

Luke has been sick the past few days with the worst cold he's ever had. He was coughing so much throughout the night, I felt so bad for him. Can you tell he's feeling better though?
