Sara's invitations

My friend, Sara, just got married over the weekend and I had the pleasure of designing her wedding invitations.

I couldn't capture the paper very well in any pictures, but it was an ivory pearlescent paper with linen texture.

It was a destination wedding, so the reply cards were vintage looking postcards.

Fortune cookies

I was going through some old photos from my phone and came across these fortunes from fortune cookies last year. I thought they were kind of funny, especially the second one.

Luke & Gertie

We had a BBQ at our house for Labor Day and Kimi brought Gertie over. Luke had a lot of fun playing with her.

New preschool

A few weeks ago, Luke changed preschools over to the Learning Tree, which is run by the Goleta Union School District. They have speech therapists and other specialists on staff, and because they focus a lot more on speech and language there, it should be really good for Luke. They had a 4-week long summer program that Luke went to, and he enjoyed it, so we're happy he gets to continue there.

When I pick him up from school, he likes to ride a bike around the track a couple times and then he helps put all the bikes away. Such a good helper!

 I thought it was cute when he put on this little airline pilot hat.

My Gym - 8/23

I caught the end of one of Luke's My Gym classes last month. They were jumping onto some colored circles that were placed on the floor.

Then they each took a turn on the zip line.

And then they did their cheer at the end of class. Luke was saying something, but I'm not sure what it was.
