Macy confessed last night to something I thought she would never ever do: wrestle. She told Erin and me last night as we were getting her ready for bed that she and her friend wrestled in PE class. We asked her if everyone was wrestling and she said, No, they were doing gymnastics. They also had a few supporters cheering them on. We asked her what she meant by wrestling and she jumped all over Erin. It was hilarious.

Speaking of wrestling, I just saw part of Nacho Libre. I say part because I just couldn’t go on. I guess I just wasn’t in the mood. I thought it was going to be the funniest thing since…well whatever the last funny thing I saw was…let’s say the last Office episode when Dwight came back to work at the Office.

And on a better note, my wrestling team has just passed our most wins as a team ever. The program started in 1994 and we have never had a 20 win season. There was a 19 win season and an 18 win season but never 20. We now are 21-7 this season with 4 meets left. I’m hoping for 23 wins.

 

2006 Steelers Season in Review

I hate to say it but I'm glad our season is finally over. At least we finished 8-8. There are many things we need to work on and the first is to find a good coach. I know Cowher is out of here and he will be missed. I can't say enough good things about what he brought to this organization. I remember the hum-drum years of Coach Noll's final hours and they were not good. I know the man won four rings but during my era (early 80's and on) we did not produce much good football.

Here's to next season, and the job search and the NFL draft.
