Payten's thumb

Yesterday Payten came to me and told me that his thumb hurts, i was surprised to see it all swollen and purple and red.... we drained some of the infection out and hopped that this morning it would look better. Well it did a little but I still wasn't satisfied and noticed it had spred around his thumb and there are red streaks going to his wrist. So i took him to the dr. he gave us some anitbiotics and said to bring him back if it gets worse or hasn't cleared up in 10 days. And that they may have to go in and see if something is stuck inside :(. My fear is that it might be a spider bite.... and did i remember to ask when i was at the dr.'s, nooo...... and now i]ve been waiting for 4 hours for him/nurse to call back.

The kids watching for daddy to come home after their baths. If Lilly had her way she'd just look out the window all day.

rain...rain...go away

So much for gearing up for summer, it looks like we're back to sping. At first i thought we were in for a few days of rain wich is perfectly fine, but as of this morning it's supposed to last till next Wednesday. I am going to have a very disappointed 3yr old come saturday when he finds out we can't go swimming at the water park.

Today was the first day the kids were able to get in our pool to play. Payten as usual loved the water, and Lilly was so excited. Her favorite thing to do was dip her face in the water, she just laughed hysterically. We will definately savor today and tomorrow's 90 degrees since the rest of the week it'll be 60's and raining.

fun summer plans

Patrick was able to get me a season pass to seven peaks water park this year for half the price, and since Payten and Lilly are still free it was a great deal, especially since it would cost the same to get a pass to the city pool. Payten is so excited, they have two little kiddie areas one with shallow water and a little playground in it, and one with 24in. of water with some water falls and slides to play on. They also have alot of adult rides but we won't really be needing those, except maybe the tube slides, and bigger kid pool areas like wave pools and such. We can't wait to start going!

....and i'm back

I knew it wasn't going to last long me being without a calling since i was released from the Primary Presidency, but i made it a little over month till they put me back in primary this time as a teacher, at first it going to be with the 6yr. olds but now they are thinking the 9yr. olds. i'm a little nervous since the lessons will have to be a little more in depth and sometimes the kids ask question i don't know the answer too but the main thing is that the class is full of boys and it used to be a team taught class and now it'll be just me so we'll see how things go.

Credit card skimming

warning: this is a new technique that people are using to steal your credit card information, looks pretty obvious right? I think so, i wouldn't swipe my card if i saw something like this. But apparently it happened someone got our debit card info and made a duplicate card and purchased something for $200 at walmart in Florida..... no wonder our card company called us so quickly i had just used to the card minutes before in Utah and then all of the sudden something came up across the country!!
