Very unfortunate day

It's not as dramatic as it sounds, but this morning i went into my room to get dressed for church when it came time to put on my skirt i found that it wouldn't zip up do to my swelling belly. So i went to my closet and pulled out a couple of bigger size skirts and much to my dissmay none of these fit either! with my other pregnancies i got away with wearing my normal skirts but just a little lower under my belly, but this time around the baby doesn't seem to want to move up. I guess it's time to make a stop at the maternity store (they do have a cute denim and khaki skirt).

great date night

Last night around 6:00 we got a call from our friend Jeff Noxon. He told us that his sister had two extra tickets for the Tim Mcgraw concert, because she had scored some backstage passes by knowing some people from her performance with Rascal Flatts the week before (yes she got to sing with them!). So we got someone to watch the kids and headed off to the show, we got there just in time to see the opening act Jason Aldean (who I like as well). We had great seats, 8th row and almost center! It was amazing (and loud). Unfortunately I left my camera at home so we only had our camera on the phone.

I took pictures of the kids everyday and sent them to patrick while he was gone to a conference for work these two are my favorite.

This weekend

The kids were glad to finally have their dad home after he was gone for a week on business. We went to seven peaks and then met up with some friends (the Noxons) and went to an Owlz baseball game. Payten had a blast playing around and switching hats, and well Lilly she just ate, and ate, hence the reason the only decent picture i got of her she had a mouth full of hot dog. They lasted about 6 inings which put us at way past their bedtime but they had fun!

This weekend we went to summerfest and enjoyed the carnival and parade....not to mention the fantastic firework show. Payten and Lilly had so much fun.

It's a girl!!!!!

Here are some photos of our little girl she was moving through the whole thing it fun to watch. They moved my due date up to October 28th. That was Lilly's due date but she came 2 1/2 weeks early, so we'll see what happens this time.

why I love summer

Today was a beautiful day, it was 80 with a slight breeze. It was a nice break from the chilly rainy last few weeks. I love being able to have the kids eat dinner outside, they think it's a treat but really it keeps me from having to clean the kitchen floor when they are done.

no more crib

Well she did it, Lilly no longer sleeps in her crib she was a lot easier than payten she didn't like it at first but she just sat in her bed and cried the first couple of times till she fell asleep (like 5 min.) but she never gets out until it's time to wake up. She's still getting used to trying not to fall out of bed.

Payten

Payten has always had a big imagination when playing with toys and a very good understanding of how things work. He cracks me up with what he comes up with everyday. This morning we apperantly had a volcano in our backyard and he went on for awhile about that. Everyday he asks if we can go to the water park (more specifically the waterslides) and today i told him that we couldn't cause it is supposed to rain he looked at me and said "well then i will blow the bad clouds away". This last week he has been on antibiotics and every night and morning he is sure to remind me, he loves the "pink" medicine. One night i forgot till about 9:30 so I went down to wake him up and there he was wide awake in bed and said "silly mommy forgot to give me medicine". He makes me smile everyday and I love being home with him.

it's about that time

i was excited to find out yesterday at my dr. appointment that i would beable to find out what we're having in two weeks. After i got home i realized that Patrick was going to be out town that whole week for work and then most of the next week for some Young mens camping stuff. So lucky me i get to find out next thursday afternoon now!!! I guess that is going to be about the only good thing about patrick being gone for two weeks.

sick Lilly

Lilly woke up at 2:30am and as i walked into her room i could smell trouble she had thrown up all over her bed. And it didn't stop there she managed to soak my side of the bed and one of our couches within an hour (did i mention that payten was sleeping on the floor by our bed because he had a bad dream and therefore got splashed by lilly). Of course this had to happen on the morning that i had a dr. appointment at 9:30 in morning and luckily i was able to get Patrick's mom to watch the kids while i went. She seems to beable to keep down some solids now but the slightest bit of milk starts things all over again which is hard since she loves milk and hates juices. Hopefully this is just a 24hr bug since she has no other symptoms.
