TRICK OR TREAT

 Olivia and Owen all dressed up and

ready to go!  We had friends over here

for soup and mummy hot dogs and then

walked around the neighborhood and got

gobs of candy....literally!!! There were

14 kids total so you can only image the looks

on the peoples faces when they opened the door!

We had a great time and just think I might

make it a tradition, even though I don't love the

holiday, I try and make it festive for the kids!

My little boy is SIX!

 Owen's actual birthday, October 16th!

I still remember the day I found out I was

having a boy!  Then bringing him into this

world six years ago!  It was one of the

best days as a mom I have experienced.  So

much joy and happiness brought by

a brand new baby and my first baby!

He still is such a blessing, bringing us

so much joy and happiness.  I

cannot believe he is six!  He is growing

up, learning so many new things at school

and becoming such a little man! I love

you the whole to the moon and back,

OWEN JOHN HISTAND!

 My parents were here for his birthday and they

try and make it a priority to be here every year

over this special time!  Of course Owen

loves it, because he adores my dad and

they have so much fun together!

My dad took him to Cabela's to look

at the animals and of course buy him

a birthday present and he picked out a

gun!  A gun....well for those of you who

know me I don't really like guns or

like having them in my house.  I know it

is a play one, but then things started getting

shot at and well the rest is history!  Oh well,

he is a boy and loves guns and shooting,

what I can I say!!!  Thanks mom and dad for coming!

Spaghetti Factory~ Owen LOVES spaghetti

so we went to the Spaghetti Factory

for dinner and had  great time!  Of

course my dad and Owen had to goof

off, but.....guess they were just

having fun once again!  It was a GREAT

day and think Owen loved his

special day!

Lego City.......Owen got a lot of Lego's for his birthday

which was obviously fitting for his party.  He has been

into playing with Lego's for while and will spent hours

building and playing with him, just like his dad!  Aaron

had a lot of Lego's too as a kid and just loved building

things out of them.  Owen got a big house, a boat, a

firetruck, a dinosaur Lego set and a garbage truck!

He loved them all!  Aaron build this great Lego

tray so Owen can build on it and then what

he builds can stay on it!
