Histand Family Camping Trip ~ 2013
Maryhill, Washington
The beautiful rainbow I saw from our campsite.
The Columbia River and the bridge you
cross over to get from Oregon to Washington
The boys at one of our campsites playing in the dirt
with their trucks.  We had 2 sites, 1 trailer and 3 tents.
We left on a Thursday and stayed through Labor
Day weekend, returning home Monday.
Josiah and Olivia
They played so well together the whole weekend
and became quite good little playmates.  So
were so cute together!!!
The girls doing a craft.  They took water balloons
and tied them to flip flops and make fun shoes.
Such a fun and cute idea and they thought they
were pretty cool!
Their final product and oh so proud!!

It was very warm while we were there so
we spent several afternoons in the water.
It felt cool and refreshing!
Owen and Ellis.  They played hard!

More fun at the water.

Ellis and Kara
Another craft.  We could not have fires which was such
a bummer!  Camping isn't quite the same without them.
So grandpa brought tin cans along and we made
little tin lanterns to hang up around the campsite.
The kids had fun making them!
Uncle Ron helping Olivia make her lantern.
We took a drive one afternoon and drove to an
exotic animal farm and some beautiful country.
You can see Mt. Hood in the background.
We stopped at Maryhill Museum and had lunch and
walked around the grounds and saw some neat things.

The kids posing for a few pictures.

Ron, Kara, Aaron and I stopped my the Maryhill
Winery and did some wine tasting.  The place
was beautiful and impressive. They host lots
of events and concerts.  Willie Nelson was there
the week before.  Would have been fun to see
a fun concert.  We bought a bottle of wine and played
a game of bocce ball and got our butts kicked, but
it was still fun and we had a good time.

Sunday morning Daphne and Lili did a little church
service for us.  It was so cute and well thought out.
We even had communion  What a fun
camping trip.  The kids had a great time
playing with their cousins.   Of course
we had good food and great company!
