Bunch of stuff!!!

So I am behind a bit in posting, here I am though and there are alot of pictures for your enjoyment ")

No wonder why I can't keep my house clean.... this happened this morning while I was cleaning my kitchen. Now I know it dosn't look it, but while I was cleaning the stove and countertops etc, my adorable little guy wanted to "help" me. He actually does this probably once a day actually. He loves that drawer and the pans and I figure that it is an easy clean up and a lot of entertainment while I "clean" or do what ever else needs to be done ")

Snow day! It was snowing today, so I decided to take Jace out and play ") It was fun! He was so fancinated by stepping in the snow and seeing his foot print there. And falling down and getting snow all over his gloves. This boy LOVES being outside!

I could not be a happier mom, seriously, he is the cutest kid and is so sweet and smart ")

First (real) Haircut!!! I mentioned Saturday morning that it finally was time for me to cut Jace's hair and Jeff says "We can do it right now if you want" So we get the clippers and Jeff wanted to do it so I took pictures instead ") He may well be the hair cutter in the family, he seems to want to atleast.

Jace didn't know what to think of it, he did so well though! He sat pretty still for a 16 month old and let Jeff work his magic ")

Here is the result! He has cute short big boy hair now ") Now when I do it it dosn't curl as much and is easier to do. Though I really did love those curls, it is the only way now to tell he is mine because especially with the new haircut and glasses he looks so much like Jeff! ")

Yup Moab again! We went in Nov with the Sierra Homes team and had so much fun! I love jeeping ") I even drove for the first time this time, for a small part! I know right! It was fun and Jeff commented that he didn't know if making me drive was a good idea because then I would like it and would always want to drive instead of him ") He may be right ;)

(By the way that picture is of Jay and Courtney trying to go up a very steep way... it didnt' wind up working but it sure looked cool for snapping some pictures.)

How cute is my hubby? I love him so much! This was a very very fun trip and thanks to my AwEsomE brother and sister in law (and family) We were able to go on this fun trip on our own, though we did miss the little guy a lot ")

So there you have it! The last little bit has been fun and we are so looking forward to Christmas!

Thanksgiving!

Well we are a very lucky family! We get 2..yes 2 Thaksgiving's every year. My mom and dad decided years ago that so the families that live close enough to both families didn't have to switch off every year they would always just hold the Gordon one the next day. It has worked wonderful every year for all that can come, plus then I get to eat both of the most delicious meals!
Thanksgiving at the Stockings was great, LuAnn even invited some students from USU, they were fun to talk to, they were all forgein, so it was fun to see them try some "American" Thanksgiving food ")
My parent's Thanksgiving was fun too. My brother's family suprised us by coming! Plus I made a blueberry pie that actually turned out to be pretty good ")
All in all we had a Awesome weekend, especially because I did not go the sales in the morning. Maybe someday I will go to take some pictures of the "avid shoppers" THAT would be an awesome post! This year though I didn't feel like getting trampled, shoved and yelled at. You brave souls who go each year, more power to ya!

Let there be Sight!!!

So, as you can see Jace is now fashioning (is that a word?) a new addition to his cute little face ")
A few months back my sister Erin noticed that one of Jace's eye's turned in sometimes. I had noticed but thought that it was nothing to worry about, but then it started to get worse. Soooo we took him to a specialist and he said "well the eye is turning in because he is extremly far sighted" meaning that he can see far away but not close up. Glasses will correct the problem and he won't have to have them forever, the eye's should correct themselves in a few years.

So here is our cute and yes "slightly" bug eyed child. It is really fun to see him actually see. They don't bother him too much, but we'll find out for sure as the days go by. ")

Halloween fun!

Halloween was more fun this year than last. We actually got to take Jace Trick or Treating! Granted Jeff and I will eat most of the candy ") but Jace will get some, he is a sugar guy, just like his mom and dad ")

We first off went to our Ward party, it was really fun. Some of the costumes we saw were so funny! I got the award for "Over acheiver to the max". I had the pixie sparkley eye lashes to top of my outfit and that is probably what got me that glorious award. Unfortunatly I threw away the lash's, they really were annoying to look through, both top and bottom so eveything was ringed in a sparkle that I looked at. Jace was the cute Tiny Ninja, and Jeff was the karate guy who got a black eye from that very Tiny Ninja. Guess how we got the makeup on his eye?.... yup we painted Jace's cute little fist and put it right onto his eye, it worked better than I thought it would!

On Halloween we went to our Ward sponsered Trunk or Treat, I usually hate them because they take some of the fun out of it. This year though with Jace being so small I liked it a lot! He didn't get to cold or wet (It started to rain about 1/2 hr into it) and he got to get some fun/yummy and some healthy treats ") Plus it gave me that extra reason to dress up again! Then later Jeff and I watched the "Incredible Hulk" which I really really liked! All in all it has been a fun Halloween. Now on to the Holiday's!!! My favorite ")

Fall

This was the only way I could get these pictures on here. "_ Every time I tried to upload them my internet would shut off, weird. Anyway's these are pictures of Jace with one of my brother's Ben and my mom. My mom and dad were nice enough to share some of their 150 some odd pumpkins with us. Now I don't know if I guessed high enough on that number, not kidding, my parent's grow so many pumpkins every year, I love love it. Now alot of them are just volunteer, but at first they planted them all and we would do this big harvest of the pumpkins and then we counted..... some years we had over 300 of all different varieties! People would drive down my parent's street to see their porch that was covered in pumpkins! That is one tradition I have loved every year (even though I do miss out on the harvest and count now that I live a ways away) and would like to continue with my family too (when we have a garden big enough that is ") ). Maybe us and my parent's can someday have a count off every year and see who wins with the most pumpkins ") We'll see I may have to convince the cute husband of mine though ")

Quirks

So I was tagged by Alison to do 6 of my Quirks ") Here are some....

6 QUIRKS (how funny does that word look and sound once you've said it a few times? )

1- I have to have my house looking decent, not spotless..no, but still tidy. Sometimes I go on an "organizing rampage" Jeff calls them my "Monica moments"

2- The laundry has to be folded in such a way, I learned from my mom how to fold and I can't stand it when it is done differently. If Jeff so sweetly assist's me, I try very hard not to unfold and re-fold what he has just folded "_ I know dumb hu.

3- I like to always look decent. Unless I am sicker than a dog I will do my makeup. Bravo to those who can look fantastic without it, that would be wonderful at times.

4- I too have to have my dishwasher loaded a certain way. Jeff unloads, I load! What a great pair we are ")

5- I always part my hair on the left, it feels weird and looks funny if I do it the other way.

6- It drives me up a wall when someone dosn't give the curtosy wave when you let them infront of you when driving or when someone dosn't atleast try to smile back at you when you pass them in the store or wherever with a smile of your own. We can always use more kindness in this world ")

Splashin'

We had a big storm come rollin through a couple days ago, the rain drops were huge! I have let Jace play in the rain before but it was barley raining then, so this time I was going to just hold him and watch the rain... how long do you think that idea lasted?........ obviously I let him play it was really cute! Idid do a short video, but I had the camera turned so in result so is the picture and I could figure out how to flip it "( Oh well here are pictures anyway!

Strawberries!

So I was downloading my pictures onto my computer when I noticed or more like remembered these pictures I took of Jace enjoying or really Loving these strawberries! It is hit and miss with him liking something so much, and this day was definetly a hit!

Yes, yes, he would bite off one or two bites until the strawberry was just small enough to fit into his mouth then in it went! He then would have to try to chew and not choke, he did very well actually. Jeff and I were laughing so hard!

By the way the first photo was strawberry #1 then second and third #2 fourth and fifth #3 and that is not all that he had in this sitting, he ate like 6-8 big stawberries!

Reading

So I haven't blogged in a while! Nothing really interesting has happened with us. I did how ever recently visit Stephenie Meyers website and read that someone put a partial draft of Midnight Sun on the internet. I was happy that Stephenie decided to put a certified copy on her website so that I could read it.... It is really good! I like it, it is the same story but so different since it is from his point of veiw. Although I was thrilled to be able to read it I am a bit sad that is happened because now she won't finish it for a while "( Sigh, Oh well, I suppose she will be writing other stuff in the mean time. Latley I am reading Memoires of a Giesha and I am really like it! I also just finished Angels and Demons, which was also very good, graphic yes, still very well written and suspensful storyline. Really I just love reading! I don't remember being much of a reader when I was growing up, but now I can not stand to not have a book to read whenever I want. It is relaxing for me, which every one needs something like that right? Well now, that is not the most interesting blog I have ever done, but there you have it!

4 years!

Well it has been 4 yrs since Jeff and I had a wonderful day! Yup we have been married now for 4 whole years. Here is a short version of our story:
We meet at a Hockey game on Valentines day (none the less). Jana and I didn't have dates so we went together and spotted Jesse, who we meet not to many weeks before, walking across the floor with Jeff. I was all about Jeff, he was just so cute! No offense to Jesse ") We dated off and on for about a year, then on May 19th he asked me to marry him at Cold Stone with a rose in a cup and my ring in the middle of the rose (ok now a collective ahhhh ") ). He got home 2 days before the wedding (he was selling in California) and we had a lovely simple wedding I even did a little dance at the reception for his and the guest's entertainment along with my sister in law Courtney and my friend Noelle! Life has only gotten better too! We have had so much fun together. He makes me laugh every day and makes me smile even more.

Jeff sweetie I have loved our 5 yrs of knowing eachother, my life is SO much better for knowing you and even better than that for being married to you and having the most adorable baby boy with you. I love you with all of my heart, Happy Anniversary!

1 Year old Pictures

So here are those pictures I talked about! We got them taken on the very day he turned one, and they turned out pretty cute.

Fist photo of him standing on his own, can you believe that now he can navigate through a good portion of our living room all by his self?! In less than a month! Crazy ")

He was being a bit shy to the girl taking the photo's so he didn't smile alot, but we got some cute faces.

I had scrapebooked this one already, when Jeff reminded me yesterday that I hadn't posted these yet. There they are my adorable little man!

My little walker ")

Yup! Can you believe it! He just turned one and he thinks that he can just up and walk now. He actually has been toying with it for a while now, but just in the last few days has he shoved our hands away and chances distance and everything! It is so cute to see him walk, especially with this walker my mother and father in law gave him. He loves it and pushes it everywhere!

We went on a walk yesterday to give some Zucchini bread to some people and I thought he would like to walk on his own with the cute Tonka truck walker.... I was right, he almost acted like he was the coolest thing around ") Which of course he is!

Breaking Dawn!!!

Ok ok so I am one of those lame chicks that was all super excited for the new Stephenie Meyer book to come out.... who cares!
My friend Jana and I decided that we would go to the "Midnight release party" at Hastings and I have to admit it was kinda fun seeing everyone dressed up and acting kinda (alot) crazy. ") We got our books though (after waiting in line for 1/2 hr, walmart had it at midnight too and guess what... no line!) Oh well it adds to the "fun" of it right?! Glad that I have been to atleast one release party. Now I can say I have ")

This guy was interesting, this is where he was asking trivia questions while standing on the counter and the girls were goin' crazy. The main reason for the photo though, is, see that guy in the right hand side... the bruiser lookin guy? Well Jana and I thought it was funny that 1- he was at this party and 2 -how huge he is!

Then we saw him later.... he isn't tall like we thought, he was about as tall as I am, well maybe a bit taller. It made it even more funny though!

Yes I have finished the book and yes I absolutly loved it, although I have yet to find a book of hers that I don't like.

Party!

(Jace was a little unsure about the present that Grandma and Grandpa Gordon gave him, he did tear into it and loves the books)

Jace had a great party! We had cake, presents, and family how fun is that?! There is a bit of a story, but it is about me not the cute birthday boy.

I decided to make a pancake and egg breakfast for Jace, then later we went to get his pictures taken. In-between there I started to have a very queezy tummy. I ignored it the best I could, but kinda slaked off during the morning thinking I would have plenty of time after pictures to get everything done by 6:00. Boy, was I wrong. The girl at JCpenny's was alone, the other girl didn't show, so that took much longer than expected. Then we rushed to the store to get the icecream that I had forgotten a day or so earlier. Hurried home because I had not yet made the "marvlous" cake that I had planned. It was when the cake was in the oven I realized that I only had about 30 minutes until people started to show up! I broke down, I didn't feel good and now I felt stupid for not planning well enough. Luckliy my mom came early and talked to me and lovingly convinced me that it was ok and that it would be just a part of the party, to watch me make the cake ") Sooo I did and it actually turned out pretty cute, with Jeff's loving help I might add, thanks babe! Well the zinger is... I forgot to serve the dang icecream that we had wasted time to go get, darn it! Ah-well. I wouldn't have done it different if I could because now I have a good story to tell Jace every year on his birthday ") It really was a great day for him, and I am so glad!

Happy 1st Birthday Jace!

(I know I am posting the day before his big day, just figured I would be busy enough tommorow ") Yay for the 24th!)

I can hardly believe that you are 1 yr now! It seems like I was just pregnant going to the Dr for a routine check and he says "how about having him tommorow?" WHAT?! I was so nervous, so was Jeff. We went out to eat that night at Chilies and I didn't taste any of what I ordered, infact I barley ate anything, and the next day, I only ate because I knew I couldn't at the hospital. I had butterflies in my stomach! I was so so so excited to see you, to hold you. And at the same time so nervous for being so resposible for such a sweet spirit. You are a wonderful baby, yes you could be cranky and yes I did reach my limit more than once, you know though I learned alot. Look at the baby I have now! You are amazingly kind, cuddly (when you want to be), smart and strong. The people that you meet in your life are going to be very lucky to know such a person. I love you with all of my heart, so does your wonderful daddy!
Happy Birthday little man! We've got alot of birthday's ahead of us ") Thank Heaven for that!

Yay Summer!

Whew! We have had a really fun summer so far! I have just really been slacking on posting, so sorry about that. Here is some of what we have done so far...

Jace making face's. Well actually he almost always looks at people this way, almost like saying I am to old for all this baby stuff.

Beautiful Bear Lake, We just got back on Sunday night. Sore and tired, yet we had so so much fun there!

Jace "helping" daddy build a sand castle, although he didn't help as much as he grabed handfuls of sand to throw or eat....which he payed for eating sand later, poor little thing!
The semi finished product looked really cool! Jace was hungry and tired though so Jeff didn't get to finish it "(

We had the Gordon Family reunion the weekend of the 12th and as Erin put it. For other family's that word "reunion" causes eyes to be rolled and belly aches, for our family though it is a blast! We had a family dance, here I am being, well, me and Jeff laughin it up ")

One of the many wonderful Uncles I have has a cotton candy machine! It is so fun and he brings it to all of the family events that he can. Jace really loved it!

We went to Hyrum Dam, rented some wave runners, talked, played in the water and ate. How much fun is that?! Obviously Jace had, had enough. Thank you Uncle Don for getting him to sleep!

A saturday before the reunion we went to Hogel Zoo with my family and we had alot of fun even though it was sooooo HOT! Even still Jace enjoyed the animals and we all enjoyed the yummy kettle corn there. mmmmmm.

All in all we have had fun being with family and doing way fun stuff! I am really loving this summer more (so far) than I ever have!
