Help'n daddy shave

This is this morning. Jace was sitting on the counter watching Jeff shave and then he decided he wanted to have some shaving cream himself. So Jeff gave him a little bit and instead of doing what Jeff was showing him to do (rub your hands together then put it on your face.) He promplty took his little pointer finger and got a bit on it and motioned that he wanted to put it on Jeff's face. It was AdorAble, I had to get a picture.

You can't see his left hand, it made the scene complete. He was holding it palm up like a artist would hold his paint, what a cutie.

Valentine's Day!

We had a really fun Valentines this year! Jeff thought maybe I would want to go out to eat for Valentines this year, I decided though that instead I wanted to start a little Valentine tradition. We did a family candle light dinner ") Maybe when he get's older we will decorate the house and such too!

First though Jeff ran to the store to get Jace's Valentines present. He was SOO excited when he saw these in the Jeep! He couldn't stop smiling, hence the picture above ") He didn't even care about the candy that was attached, just the baoon's!

Here is the family dinner! The Orchid on the table was my valentines flower from Jeff this year, pretty isn't it?!

K I downloaded these backwards, opps! This is the after picture. Jeff was helping Jace get a drink of Sparkling cider and then Jace tipped it a bit too much, which resulted in the picture above! A wet daddy and a very wet and confused toddler boy ")

Jace update

So I thought that for posting sake I would say how Jace is doing! Sorry it's a bit long "_

He is doing so incredible ") Tall like his Uncles and still nice and solid!

He is really starting to talk, linking 2 words together and such. It is so fun to hear how he pronounce's certain words, like, cows say " booooo" and a shower is a "showbah" He has a hard time with the R sound right now, so it sounds like ah.
He also know's that when he says please, pronounced "pease?", he is more likely to get what he wants at the time. So When I am about to go lay him down for a much needed nap he will say "noo pease?" or when he wants to watch a show or "sho" he will say "mo pease" (more please)or just please. Too cute. He knows I struggle to resist it, smart kid ")
He still does the signing which I love! He says the thing that he is signing at the same time now, so that helps me know exactly what he is saying. Plus he loves the videos, so that is a plus. I should try to get some pictures of him doing some signs, seeing as he inturprets them his own way.
His favorite movie right now is Nemo or "neamo" and his favorite word?.... No no no, of course right?! Although he dosn't say it to everything which is nice, atleast not yet. Well enough blabbing I know you just want to see the pictures so here they are! ")

Daddy's shoes ")

I said "say cheese!" In both the photo above and below.... The one above from last night he signs it... the one from not long ago he said it and I got the desired result ")

He helped me make "Scotcheroos" and then got to clean up. ")

This was... so fun, k not really. I accidentally left the salt on the table the night before this. I was doing who knows what and I look around and he has the salt turned upside down and is watching with facination as the salt comes flowing, onto the table and chair then onto the floor. I know you can't really tell from the picture but he had succeeded in dumping A LOT of salt ") This was the expression he wore when I stopped him. I wasn't exactly thrilled, but decided it was one of those situations that you have too either take a picture and/or laugh, or just get mad. Then me being not so smart left the dang salt on the table. So what do you think he did not too much later?.... yup started dumping it again "_ I caught him early on that one though. Cute kid, can't help but love him!

He's home!

Yup you see right! My brother is now home from his mission for the LDS church ") He served California for the last 2 years. I am so proud of him, he did great.
Now actually he got home 2 weeks ago.... I am just really slow to update...sorry "_

Those are pictures of us picking him up at the airport. Notice the cute picture of my mom waiting to anxiously to get the first glimps of Dan! Then when he did appear we were all waiting for him to come to us and my other brother (Ben) Says "well I'm not waiting!" and runs over to give Dan a hug as soon as he was a few steps of the escalator ") It was sweet. It is so fun to have him home, I love it!

Ironically enough the same day that I get to see one brother, another one is getting on a plane to go to Iraq. Same day, who woulda' guessed?! I had a really hard time with Richard (Army) leaving. I know he will be smart and he had better stay safe, I just have never been good with "see you later" s. Even now writing about him being away....makes me sad. Maybe it is because he is fighting for our country instead of spreading the gospel, which I consider a bit more dangerous, but just as important. He is a very brave man and he will have some good stories to tell us when he gets home, I am sure!

Sorry for that little damper party! I really am so happy to have Dan home again ")
Oh and I will be gaining another sister in law in June, Nate is engaged! ") So fun. Well I will post more pictures of the star of my blog (Jace of course) soon!
