Thursday Doors

Hello everyone. I’ve been moving around some for a while now. This door I found in Wimbledon! Yep, that one. I always thought it was a tennis facility somewhere on the outskirts of London. But it really is a district/suburb of London. Very cute and welcoming.

It truly is curved, my first time seeing such a door.

The above door is a part of this Church which feels like it’s in the town center. In the back of this church is the Wimbledon train station. A very modern one.
We took the train to Piccadilly Circus area of London. This building is on Oxford Street.

This too…

Was standing in the middle of Oxford street trying to get this sunset.. traffic was moving at 20mph and they stick to it. We took a cab somewhere
and it felt like a meandering stroll!
Such history. So interesting to think some of these building were here before there was a United States!

We went to Harrods.. to gauk at stuff we could not afford.

This store was huge!!

It was good to get back to London. At the moment I’m hanging out in Manchester. Let the explorations has begin.

Thanks for stopping by.

A raised voice!

My daughter had a doctors appointment last Tuesday at Union Square in Manhattan. I drove her and while she was seeing the doctor I was busy people watching downstairs in the car.

There was the usual controlled chaos of tourists, residents, buses, trucks, cars, cop cars, ambulances and food vendors – a typical NYC scene where all things were in motion.

Yet, in this garden of wild things, there she sat! A lone protester with her sign. Saying her piece.

She was the only person staying still. Such a contrast.

A good Wednesday to all!

The Coneflower is my new favorite. This thing feels like it’s been in bloom all summer.
