November 2017: Veterans Day Visitors from Portland and Thanksgiving in St. George

Bearded man in the bathtub... they're almost too big to both fit.
Deirdre, Mark, Kira, and Claire came for a long weekend.

We got burritos and took them to the Gliderport so the kids got to watch para-gliders take over over the ocean

They were pretty enthralled for quite a while.

Must have been first Saturday! Girls did a great job making trucks with hammer and nails.

Selfie while watching the kids play at the park

Mama and Seth (probably at like 5am knowing this kid)

Half of Ada's school

I made slime at science lab!

warming up in the car after swimming in the ocean. I guess I'm trying to get myself in a few of these posts...

Wow someone has a big smoothie!!

Seth was home sick with a fever and had to stay home the next day so I took him to the park for a bit after making him come to an open house with me.
Hanging by himself!

Ada gave herself dreadlocks.

Seth helping me workout in the morning

Excellent pre-bed snuggles
For Thanksgiving, we headed to St George.

This place is very well billboard advertised on the way to Utah. PeggySue's diner. It has dinosaur statues and a koi pond out back. Fun stop.

Hard to see but Seth took a nap, fell asleep on the couch. We found him like this, his head is on the coffee table and body on the couch.

Also hard to see, we got these LED light up balloons for the kids. They're playing with them on the trampoline at night, looked very cool.

At Mike and Quel's, super cute unposed picture.

October 2017

Pictures from a pretty fun and eventful October!

American girl climbing around at Camino Ruiz aka "Far Park"
She found a brother on the slide!

In a huge truck cab at the Mira Mesa street fair

Little froggy at the Natural History Museum

We went with my friend Rachel, husband Mike, and son Jake, who you can see between Ada and Seth. Rachel F took a picture from the other side and sent it to me but it was on my now defunct phone.

Ada was making happy ice cream cones one day when I picked her up at preschool

Also at preschool, smile for the camera!

Ready, Set..... GO!!

She learned how to braid to make these necklaces
Look who came to visit! Mormor and Morfar arrived while we were trying on Halloween costumes
Ada and Seth spent the night at Mormor and Morfar's hotel room. Looks like they slept great.

Mira Mesa always has a "Pumpkin Patch!!!" (as we say every time we drive by) in October. We promised they could go when Mormor and Morfar came. They have fun bounce houses and few other rides.

Ada was very pleased with her pumpkin selection!

And pleased with the outcome after conversion to Jack-o-lanterns

Daddy's favorite was the bucket boats.

Lucky Mama got to go thru the bouncy slide too!

ooooo haunted house. Fortunately they don't look scared.

WHEEEE!!!!!

Lucky Ada got to go to another pumpkin patch too! This one with preschool, same as last year. She's going to be jealous of Seth next year...

August/Sept 2017

I'm going to try not to smile...

But my blue hair, it's so awesome!

Ooo mama

We can build trucks!!

Lucky Batman got to change Seth's diaper!

Early morning playing before leaving to swim
Scripps Aquarium trip
Ahhhhh!!

The red circle at Target is a surprisingly fun place to play
St. George Trip. Ada's school is closed for 2 days between summer and fall sessions to change up the classrooms so Rachel took the kids to St. George. Mike and Quel were awesome and agreed to watch them for the week.
Check it out Daddy, Mom let us get ice cream on the drive~!

Mike and Quel have a new house (new construction) so they made mud.

This made drop off really easy, they didn't care at all when Rachel left.

Can't move, my nails are wet.

Daddy and Daddy are home!
Back to San Diego...
At our condo pool. Love this one of Seth

Ada drew this at school, can you guess what it is? Our bathroom!! All 4 of us, the strip of mirror lights on the top, 4 toothbrushes, and the toilet on the right. Awesome details Ada.

I did a crazy day hike with a few coworkers. It was supposed to be a training hike for a backpack but then we didn't go cause it was going to get down to 15F at night and that didn't sound fun. We're supposed to try again next August.

Rachel's birthday brunch at a new place. Sitting with Mama waiting for our table.
Food was worth the wait!
