Full description of the idea
Generator is my preferred layout for its symmetry and simplistic appearance. Recently imposed advertisements by LiveJournal makes the layout look haphazard and lessens the appeal. I'm not saying there should be no ads. I'm saying they should be modified to accomodate the layout by reducing the height by several pixels. See the prototype of my suggestion here:

As you can observe, little of the original advertisement is changed and the appearance of the layout is ultimately improved.

Tag Display Behavior in Generator

Short, concise description of the idea
Make the Tag Function display consistant with the music, mood, and location display in the Generator layout.

Full description of the idea
The Location, Mood and Music displays in the Generator layout align themselves with one another, and have a consistant space between them. The Tag display which rides above them, looks like it matches in that it has the same formatting (default [Tags| tag, tag, tag]) but does not fall inline with the spacing, (where the information on the left of the | is right alighned, and the information on the right is left aligned, and all the closing brackets line up) instead it's just left aligned and the closing bracket is just at the end. Also the information to the left of the | on the other three header types can be customized in the customizations, but "Tags" is stuck that way.

• Not knowing much about LJ format coding, I'd suggest implimenting whatever code is used to align the other three possible header information blurbs, on the tags one as well.

LJ userpic background color

Change the background color of your userpic to match 'Weak accent' color.

Full description of the idea
Note this is for the "Generator" journal style only. I don't know if anyone else feels this way but having your userpic background color different from the 'Weak accent' color is just ugly. I suggest a free variable to make it match the 'Weak accent' color or just make it like that for everyone, because the way it is now makes it stand out too much and it's retarded looking. If you don't understand look at my journal... see how my weak accent color is #eeeeee? Yet the background color for my userpic is black... it's nasty yo.
