The cobbler's son never has new shoes and the photographer's kids never have non-cellphone pictures taken! I decided Rosemary's enjoyment of this year's first snow (that we were in town for) was worth busting out the "real" camera. All she wanted to do was ride her bike, but the snow kept packing onto the tires and making it get stuck.
Claire has a habit of dumping out our big box of dollhouse accessories. I "help her" clean them up, which basically means I do it while she dresses a Barbie. On Monday I put my foot down and said she couldn't have any more screen time until she cleaned up dollhouse. Every afternoon this week when she'd normally do screen time, she goes in to clean up and instead spends hours playing. This also ends up with another bin or two of toys getting dumped out. It's the end of the afternoon on Thursday and she called me in to show me...her fashion show! Obviously, my plan to get her to clean up her mess is not working out how I intended!
