Disneyland passes

We decided to get Disneyland passes again.  The kids were so excited!  It is nice to have something to look forward to and it was surprising how much fun we have as a family there!  The kids had last Friday off and so did Donald, so we headed down and had blast!

Ballet classes

Elizabeth started a ballet class last week.  She has been wanting to take a dance class for a long time, so I hope it meets her expectations!

Also last week Sarah and Joshua started a conversational Mandarin Chinese class that is free from the school district.  I hope that is good too and they like it and learn a lot!

Mermaid tail

One of Lizzie's friends gave her this cool mermaid tail blanket.  How fun is that?

Boogie boarding

The kids spent the morning boogie boarding while I played on the sand with August and Wayne and Jolene packed up.  Alex came down for a little bit, but he just wanted his mom!  All three kids are getting pretty good at riding the waves and had so much fun!

Elizabeth was up early and so was Joshua, so we went on a very nice shell collecting walk and watched the sunrise.  It was so relaxing and peaceful.  I do wish I could live closer to the beach and take walks like that more often!

Camping at the beach

Wayne and Jolene invited us to spend the night at their beach camp site the same weekend as Lizzie's birthday.  We headed out Sunday afternoon and played a bit.  Had a nice dinner and roasted marshmallows, then we went to sleep listening to the sound of the waves!

Party fun!

Elizabeth has such a nice group of friends and her party was a hit!  We had a nice cool day and the girls had fun decorating treasure chests, swimming and playing pin the tail of the mermaid.  Then they just played in the backyard.  We could have gone a whole hour longer, they were having so much fun!

Party set up

Elizabeth wanted a Little Mermaid party and we all had a lot of fun planning it!  We went on Pinterest and she picked things she liked and Sarah and Joshua volunteered to make some of them.  

Happy 7th Birthday Elizabeth!

Elizabeth had such a nice seventh birthday! I spent the morning volunteering in her classroom, then signed her out and took her to lunch at McDonalds. She was thrilled! Then I checked her back in and stayed to help with an art activity. After school she got to open her family gifts. She got a new "Frozen" scooter and was thrilled! The next day we had a bunch of her friends over for a mermaid party.
