Riley's Baptism

Riley had a big weekend!! She received the sacrament of baptism on Saturday. What an angel she is! Aunt Lacy and Uncle Jon are Riley's Godparents. Many friends and family came to celebrate with us. Riley is 7 week old now. My how the time does fly...I just can't say that enough!

Cousin Davis is about to give Riley a kiss. How sweet!!!

This is Riley's friend Elise. Courtney (Elise's mom) brought her over on Saturday before Riley's baptism. Elise holds a special place in our hearts. And Check out how much hair she has!! She is two weeks older than Riley. She is soooo cute!

Here is another one of those smiles that I was talking about last week. I think she REALLY looks like Josh in this picture. It looks very similar to his baby picture.

Meeting Fritz

Riley is starting to make more noises and "talk." Just last week she started smiling at us. In fact, if we stand or sit by her in the bouncer and talk to her she will smile. This usually only happens when her belly is full and she is happy. We will take smiles however we can get them!! Riley is growing so much! We had to go through her drawer and take out some of the newborn clothes that she has outgrown. Riley has three more weeks to stay home with mommy until she goes back to work.

Fritz came to visit Riley this weekend all the way from College Station. This is their first date. :-) Fritz, you are such a cutie! Chili just had to get in the picture too. Josh and I were glad to visit with Mark and Vicki...we just don't get to see them enough!

Riley got to see great-grandad Grohman last Thursday. We meet him at Goldem Corral for supper. This is Riley aefter about 30 minutes of fussiness at the restaurant.

For reason, we only took pictures of Riley when she was sleeping last week. She is in one of her favorite spots...sleeping on mommy in the rocker. What a cutie pie! She is getting so chubby. She really likes her formula. We love you sweetheart!!

1 Month Old!

Riley is one month old today! It is also Uncle Logan's birthday today. It is Uncle Jon's birthday tomorrow. Happy BirthdayUncle Logan and Uncle Jon!! Cousin JP will be turning 3 on Saturday. We wish we could make your birthday party! We love you all. Riley is starting to look at people and things and follow them. She is holding her head up a little too. She is starting to enjoy bath time. Mommy and Riley discovered the usefulness of the Snugli this week. I can put Riley in the Snugli and she will be just as content as she can be. In fact she often falls asleep in there. It is hard to get her out without waking her up!

Dawn, Abbie, and JP came by for a visit last week. Abbie liked giving Riley lots of kisses. What a sweet cousin! Donna came by this week too. Riley really likes her. Donna even sang "Itsy Bitsy Spider" to her.

What a great start to the new year!

Riley is wearing her John Deere tractor bib that has her name in pink on it. This is one of her Christmas presents from Kristi & Max. They thought it would be daddy's favorite...and they were right!!

Daddy and Riley are hanging out after a feeding. Eating is both of their favorite things to do!! Riley is sporting a pink and yellow sleeper that cousin Davis gave her. She really likes it and it is so comfortable.

Daddy caught mommy and Riley sleeping one morning before he went to work. And I promise the pillow isn't on Riley's head like it looks in the picture! Riley sure does like sleeping by her momma, but hopefully this will not turn into a habit!

Riley is showing off her outfit Granny Prine gave her for Christmas. It has little green frogs on it and the feet are little frogs. Way cute! She really likes this outfit because it fits her so well right now. Most of the other outfits are still a little big. She will try to wear it as much as she can before she grows out it in a couple of weeks.
