Well here I am at five months, the half way point if I go to a full 40 weeks. Galen and I were talking about this last night, and it kinda hit home a little harder then normal for us both. Half way done? Already? We're willing to hold out for this condo that we want, so if it ends up taking a few more months, we'll be turning the second bedroom in our apartment into the baby's room. Not sure if we'll follow this condo to the courtroom steps or not, that'll depend on family. There is some appeal to getting it for only 60k though. I'd much rather have a baby room done and waiting, to be honest.
I've pounded a few nails into the walls and hung up the baby clothes that I bought with mom and the others that I have. They make for the best decorations I can think of, hehe! I'm still carrying around the little fuzzy pink socks that we bought. I even take my naps with them.
>.>
Hush you.
These last two weeks have been filled with little baby kicks and my aching hips. I've put a quilt under the sheets on my side of the bed in hopes the extra padding will help, but it's very minimal. I have a pillow that I hug every night to help support my arms and shoulders, which is good for no backaches, but I have no idea how to help my hips. Usually it takes a good hour after I wake up in the morning for the ache to leave. Of course I sleep on my sides, not supposed to sleep on my back if I can avoid it, but I'm waking up more and more on my back from the pain. I do have an appointment with my OB today, so I'll ask her about it.
Otherwise, we're having a hard time finding Winny the Pooh baby stuff. The Disney Store at both the Lloyd Center and Van Mall are gone. Makes me a very sad fishy. There is a website for them, but I have yet to find were the local stores are. Let the hunt continue!

It's a Girl!

Yay! It's a girl! I'm a tad short of words from happiness, but the tech did a full look over all baby parts and everything is normal and as it should be. We're going to name her Kaylee, with a family name for the middle, possibly Doreen (Galen's Grandmother on his mom's side). We went to Fred's right after and bought little pink fuzzy socks, some bibs with ducks on them, and a newborn sleeper with an elephant on it. Galen insisted on the elephant *giggles*
Oh! And on the third set of pictures down, there's one labeled "leg". Yeah, she stretched that sucker all the way out for a nice picture. Thanks honey!
Also: Galen humored me about buying the cute frilly stuff, but what he wanted was a picture book. So we went to Barnes&Noble and bought one with four stories in it. So adorable!

Peanut Says Hi!
Four more days and we'll know if I have a Justin or a Kaylee. But this last Wednesday, after dinner, I felt the strangest thing. It was like someone brushed their knuckle against my belly. Not just once, but three times in the space of 30 seconds. Eeeeeeeeee! Then again Thrusday night, after dinner, and now today! Seems to only be after dinner though, from right after to a few hours after, but never more then a few bumps and always on the left side below my bellybutton.

Just Around the Corner...
So we passed the two month mark, two months left until our anniversary and I got to thinking... Maybe it's time to make our reservations. We've been going to the same place for three years in a row, but not any more. After an incident that resulted in my gold necklace and brand new pendant getting stolen from our room, and not getting replaced by them, we're never going back. Time for something new! http://www.pelicanshores.com/index.html We'll be enjoying a top floor king studio room for two nights. Oh boy! And they have free continental breakfast ;)

Energy
It's not very long, but very interesting information about an alternative energy source. Thanks Matt!

18 Weeks
That much closer to July 29th. Yes we're back from camping, yes I'm lazy and haven't finished resizing the pictures. Strangely, I'm extremely tired today. Maybe it's cuz I got to eat the godfruit of all crab puffs last night. Mmmmm... puffy goodness.

Camping
Tomorrow we head out to the Olympic Forest for some relaxing days camping! We'll leave bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7:15am for Galen's parents to get firewood and join in the caravan, then head north. We'll be home Sunday evening. http://www.nps.gov/olym is where we are going specifically, but the exact campsite will be determined when we get there. I plan on bringing my camera, so hopefully I'll get some nice shots for when we get back. I admit my biggest worry is having to get up in the middle of the night at least twice to use the bathroom. Thankfully I have a nice coffee can from my folks I can use if need be. ;)
We finally heard back from CJ (our realtor) about the house. It seems the bank wants their $115k one way or another. Meaning, we would have to pay $125k for the place so that after the FHA loan takes it's cut, the bank still gets it's money. Obviously we can't afford to do that, so unless CJ pulls off a miracle, we won't be getting the place.

Woosh woosh!
Went into my doctor today and got to listen to baby's heartbeat go wooshwoosh! It's the neatest thing, and Galen went with me so he could hear it for the first time on my belly instead of the ultrasound. Baby is holding strong at 150 heartrate, and Dr. Griffith found it very fast since baby was in the middle at the front. I've been experiencing some shortness of breath and increased heartrate after I eat, so I asked about that. It's either a type of heartburn related to pregnancy, or I can try eating very slowly so my stomach doesn't expand too much.

Cirque De Soleil
Not only do I love listening to Josh Groban, the video gives me goosebumps. The song is called "Let Me Fall". Enjoy!
