I can't believe that it is November already

It seems like the days are just flying by way to quickly.  Mayble is 9 months old now.  We are a month behind on her appointments due to the move  so we don't have any stats on her.  She weighs 21 lbs 13oz.  This means that I need to buy her a new car seat this week because she is about an ounce away from the limit.  I can't believe that she is bigger than Mac was, because I thought he was massive.  This might be due to the fact that Mayble is still not sleeping through the night.  She still wakes up a few times every night and screams until I give her a bottle.  She is a diva but we love her so much.  During the day Mayble is just the sweetest little child.  She just plays and crawls around and keeps herself entertained.  Well, I think that Mac keeps her pretty entertained.  He is such a busy little boy.  There is always something new for him, to get into.  I don't think that our house will ever be child proof.  Every time I think we are good, Mac proves me wrong.  He can climb up on just about anything.  He can turn on faucets, open doors, lock and unlock doors, use the garage door opener.  Needless to say that the little stink needs constant supervision.  My only sanity these days is the 2 hour afternoon nap that both my little angels take.  I wouldn't trade being a stay at home mother for anything.  Love you Mac & Mayble!

These two precious babies are my life!!!
Mac LOVES technology he has to have the iphone or kindle or ipad or what ever he can get his little hands on.  It is amazing how much he knows how to do to.  He already way smarter than I am.  He loves to put on music and dance.  It is so entertaining.  I think that we have a dance party almost every night at our house before bed.  Mayble even shakes her cute little booty.
I just loved this little outfit on Mac. Suspenders- love it!
This photo kinda breaks my heart.  Mac used to fit in this car seat.  He is just growing to fast for this mom. He needs to slow down.
This is not their real halloween costumes, these are the pajamas I took them to visit Matt on Halloween night.  But they looked so cute.  I actually have no pictures of their costumes for the ward trunk or treat.  I do not know what I was thinking.  Mayble was a blue fairy and Mac was Conan O'Brien.  They were adorable and I have no pictures!!! I still have so many posts before I am caught up.  It is a good thing that I live in the country and our internet is sooooo slow!!! Downloading a picture take about 7 years.

She is starting to be a daddy's girl.  Doesn't she look adorable.  Last week we all got ready for church and got in the car to leave and my car wouldn't come out of park.  It is in the shop now.  So much effort to get everyone ready and out the door and then all for nothing.  Oh well, it is the thought that counts right?
Matt dosen't understand my need for accessories, but I just couldn't pass up this bracelet set to match her dress.  I love having a little girl to make fluffy!!
My little techie!! Look at that mischievous  grin.  I love him so much!!
Sometimes I loose track of time and forget about Mayble's morning nap.  This was one of those days.  She just fell asleep in the middle of the floor!  SO precious.

Go Broncos!!!

The kids are all ready to watch the big game tonight with Daddy.  I think that Daddy might be more excited than they are.  Like always I am obsessed with making these two kiddos match.  I think that maybe I should have taken the pictures before dinner so they weren't so messy, but they are still so cute!!

 Two peas in a pod!

On a side note, Matt and I are officially home owners!  We signed all the paperwork today.  We now own this beauty! We are totally feeling like adults now- kinda weird.

Sunday Best

I think that this is the farthest that we have ever been from our church.  We have a 30 min drive every sunday, then 3 hours of church and then a 30 min drive back.  We have started bringing a picnic with us to eat on the way back and our Sundays are great once again.  I am so thankful that we are even 30 minutes away from a church, I am sure there are a lot of people who live farther away.  Our new ward is really nice and we are excited to get to know all of them a little better.  Unfortunately right now all they know us for is the couple who spends most of their time in the hall with screaming children.  I wonder if the kids even get anything out of our current church attendance.  Mostly Mac wanderers around the halls and points out the pictures of Jesus.  I guess that is something. One thing that Matt and I have learned as we have moved around so much is how thankful we are to be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  How we can move anywhere in the world and walk into Sacrament Meeting and we feel like we are home.  The church is such a blessing in our lives. Also, I love dressing up the kids in their Sunday best.  That is what this post started as, but then it ended up a little different.

All about Mayble

Our Little Miss Mayble June is now 6 months old.  Where does the time go?  She is so busy, she is already rolling everywhere and pulling herself up to the crawling position. Above she is sitting up in a chair in the bath. She will be crawling and walking before we know it.  She loves her daddy and gets a little upset if he comes home and doesn't acknowledge her in a timely manner.  She loves her daddy kisses- I think it is because of the scruff Matt's face.  She just laughs and pulls him in for more kisses.  She definitely has all of us wrapped around her little finger.  Including Mac, Mayble cries and we all come running.  One of the phrases that Mac uses the most is "k Mayble".  My two kiddos definitely have a special bond.  I start to think that Mac is being too rough with her just about the time that she starts to laugh at being put in a head lock.  She is going to be one tough cookie.  As for the sleeping. Sigh.  She still wakes up 2-3 times a night.  I am exhausted.  She just screams and screams until we figure out exactly what she wants and it is different every night.  Maybe someday I will sleep again. Other than the sleeping issue she is so fun and active. Mom and Dad love you very much Mayble!
 Still the little fashionista!

Matt calls this her pink chubbacca outfit.  ( I am sure that I spelled that wrong)
Her hair is long enough to put in curlers.  Love it!!
So happy most of the time.
Lounging in her kiddie pool.  She loves to be in the water.  She would love to be outside more I am sure, but it has been well over 100 degrees all summer.  I really miss Idaho weather!

The 4th 2012

We had a really nice 4th of July.  It was really laid back.  Matt had to work for the first part of the day, then we went and ate some BBQ in Durant (The big city 30 min away)  I was so excited this year because I thought Mac would be way into the sparklers.  But sadly no, he could have cared less.  All he wanted to do was run in the street and be chased by his dad.  It a good thing that we don't have any neighbors yet.  Macallister did like the poppy things that you throw on the ground and snap.  ( what are they called?? ) Mayble just looked mildly amused the entire time kinda like we were boring her.  Oh well maybe next year.
The over the shoulder pose :)
I love to make these two kidos match.  I am sure one day they won't let me anymore, but for now it is the best! I know I am a little bias, but I think that I have the cutest kids in the world!
Mac still loves his baby sis!  He really is the best big brother.
They have the same blue eyes.
 Mildly amused.
Mac loves being chased by his dad.
This picture sums up our day with Mac, us being way excited about the sparklers and Mac just running away and doing his own thing.  P.S. Thanks Melissa for the great idea about the cup!!  It really helped.
 Aren't daddies the best?
This picture has nothing to do with the 4th, but I thought I would share Macallister's summer wardrobe with everyone.  He has on a diaper that has been duct taped on, croc sandals (the only shoes wide enough for those fat feet) and one of his daddies ties.  He tells me that he is going to work, see ya, love ya, bye bye.   Also the phone.  He is quite the character this one!

Oklahoma

Where to begin?  We have been here in Oklahoma for about 3 weeks now and for the most part we love it.  We love our house, our backyard, Matt loves his new job and Mac loves all his new open space.  However, Oklahoma has scorpions.  I was bit last week while walking in my kitchen to get a glass of water.  I was ready to pack up and leave right then, but Matt talked me out of it :)  We had the house sprayed and I haven't seen a bug inside since.  The kids are doing great, Mac is starting to talk all of the time.  Sometimes it makes sense but mostly not.  He loves to talk on the phone, he will just walk around and jabber away.  He has learned though that it is more fun to have someone else on the other end to talk to. So if you get a phone call from Matt or I and you don't understand who is talking it is just Mac.  We have started a new tradition since we have gotten here- a Friday night Family date night.  We have tried so many fun restaurants.  We tried crawfish for the first time, and we had the most amazing fish tacos in Dallas.  Mayble is still a little diva.  She can laugh and cry within a second.  It is actually pretty impressive.  She is rolling all over the place and she LOVES her brother.  Anything Mac does is fabulous to her. I love how good Mac is with Mayble.  He always wants to hold her and is constantly saying "Hey Girl!" Even though I joke and usually say that the kids are for sale, I wouldn't trade being their mother for anything.

Mayble's first pig tails
Aunt Denise bought her the cutest socks ever so we have to post a pic of them.  Thank you Aunt Denise- we miss you!
Mayble swimming in the pool.  We haven't gotten her a bathing suit yet if you can believe that!!
Grandma Janice bought Mayble this outfit- she looked so adorable.
I realize that this pic makes me a bad mother, but that was the only way I could get her to stop screaming.  Sometimes you do what you have to do!!  She was so content- it was kinda funny.
A thunder storm woke Mac up from his nap, but he was still so tired he fell  asleep on the floor.
It is amazing what kids pick up on- this is Mac trying to use the breast pump.  Also the ever present white onsie.  We now have added duct tape to it to keep this kids clothes on.  He has peed and pooped all over our carpet because he can undress himself pretty fast.  It is a good thing that we love him so much!
Playing in his swimming pool outside.  He was so cold that he was shaking that day but as much as we tried we couldn't get him out of that pool.

This is the look that we give Mac when he is in trouble.  Now, he does something that he know is naughty and then gives us the look says uh-oh and goes to his room to time out.  So all of you love and logic professionals- how do I handle this????

This would be me chasing Mac all over the house to fix his hair.  That is what happens when your mother does hair :)
Mac is starting to be very "helpful" with the laundry
Mac and Mayble were both hungry at the same time the other night so I let Mac feed himself without very much supervision.  I guess it could have been worse!
Along with scorpions, we also have bull frogs ( this little guy was on our back porch ) and raccoons.  Matt and I were watching a movie the other night and we herd something outside.  When we turned on the light we had raccoons going through our trash.  I always have thought of myself as a country girl, but I am thinking that maybe I was wrong.  I am way out of my element here!!!  Love being here with my family- we are very blessed!
