She takes after her Dad (definitely not me!)

As a treat, yesterday I bought donettes at the store. Love donettes. Doesn't matter if they are powdered or chocolate ... love them. So, instead of indulging right when I got up, I decided I should run first (I should probably call it a jog and not a run ... and it only lasts about 30 minutes). I told Maggie she could have her donuts in the stroller while I ran. I cut up three of them and off we went. About five minutes into my jog Maggie handed me back the bowl. This is what it looked like ...

Are you kidding me? You only ate ONE HALF of a donette?? I may or may not have mentioned this before, but Maggie is not big on sweets. She has spit out brownies ("Me no like brownies"), eaten one bite of ice cream and declares "Me all done", thrown away half eaten suckers ... you get the idea. But one half of a donette? Made me sad really. Which brings me to the point that she must take after her Dad because I would NEVER leave donettes on my plate. :)

I am happy to report that she did eat about three donettes this morning for breakfast (which she wanted dipped in coffee like me), but I'm still reeling from yesterday's events.

And love this picture of Ryan and Maggie at his football game. I think Ryan is going to stop inviting me to go because I spend the entire time yelling his number and shouting "Go D!" It makes it more entertaining for me!

Fun With Dad ...

Maggie and Ryan enjoyed dancing in the living room last night ...

She has really been practicing ballerina moves and I was pleasantly surprised at how well she did on her tip toes!

And this was the scene after Ryan got home from work the other night. I'm 100% sure this never happened when I was little. I feel so old! Oh technology ...

Welcome Back Parenthood.

Am I the only one that is excited about tv series starting? Last night we watched Parenthood. I simply love this show. That may be an understatement. The casting, acting, writing and everything else that creates the show is wonderful. I could go on and on here about my crush on Joel and Mark or about how I love the interchanges between Sarah and Amber or how I just really don't care for Crosby, but I won't because you probably don't care, but oh how I've missed you Bravermans.

I too am getting excited for some of the new ones out there (Up All Night - I have you DVR'd so just wait), but to have Modern Family, CSI (the original only, but am waiting to see how Ted Danson fairs!) and Glee back up and running, just makes me smile.

Football

Maggie and I headed out to watch Ryan play in his flag football game on Saturday morning. Despite my worries of doctor's appointment to follow, Ryan got an interception and a touchdown! I'm thinking maybe he should join the Colts!

Maggie has been calling us in for dinner the last few days. She has the table set with food and plates for us to eat. I think it is pretty sweet ... and trust me, I need these moments since most of the other time she is challenging us with her defiance. :)

Labor Day

Since the Harrell Hurricane moved to Youngstown eight years ago, we've visited every Labor Day.

This time we got to ...

Celebrate the twins' 5 year birthday!

Watch Ella and Ben play soccer ...

Visit the Canfield Fair for the fourth time ...

And just hang out ...

It was such a fun, enjoyable weekend. We miss them already, but are so thankful for the times we can visit.

(Sorry for the blurriness of the water balloon pictures ... I just love how much fun everyone is having!)
