A Party with Santa

We went to a party the other night, and we met Santa! He brought gifts for all the kids, even for me! Miles got a Magic Kit, Emory got a Squinkies house, and I got a REAL bell from Santa's sleigh! I was so excited. He knew exactly what I wanted! We all experienced the magic of Santa that night. Thank you Santa!

Emory is 8!

"Mom, What did it feel like the day you turned 8? 'Cause I feel different..."

That Em, such a thinker. She has such a mature soul. She doesn't want to ever be a teenager, she just wants to live with her brother and adopt 3 african babies when she gets older. She wants to be a librarian and a fashion designer. And her brother is going to drive her to work every day on his monorail.

I don't think there has ever been a sweeter little girl... and I was pretty sweet. She thinks of others, she follows all the rules, and she loves on her brother, always.

I just got interrupted from typing because I heard her crying. She was sad because her birthday was over. Oh, she is SOOOO my daughter.

I love you, little lady! I am blessed beyond measure to be your mom. :)
