So Fandom Stocking reveals happened yesterday and I got some awesome stuff in my stocking -- a bunch of book recs and animal pictures, icons, Steve/Tony fic and art in 616, Ults, and even Bullet Points, a playlist -- and you should check that out.

I had wanted to write about the Battle of Zama and I started to research the eclipse, at which point I discovered that there were people saying that the eclipse wasn't that impressive from that location. Then I found people saying that the eclipse never happened. Then I found people saying that Zama never happened and was just Roman propaganda. At this point I decided, screw it, I am setting the Battle of Zama IN SPAAAAAACE and that way no one can tell me I am wrong. I am the best at history! I am the best at space!

Yay! fandom_stocking went live and I got a bunch of awesome stuff in my stocking -- some good wishes, Avatar icons, a K/S wallpaper, more Avatar icons, K/S recs, some very sweet Eagle fic, a glorious picspam of wolves and unicorns together with an also-glorious Eagle AU where Esca (and presumably Marcus) are gamer nerds, excellent F/K language kink, and carmarthen swearing she's going to write Caesar/Nicomedes. Not in my stocking but in the AO3 collection is Wagnetic's Gift, Eagle wingfic where Marcus has eagle wings hahaha yes.
