#2973. 格の貧富の差[case][syncretism][eme][literature][inflection]

　Allen (205) に，（主として初期）中英語のテキストを，形態的な格標示が比較的残っているもの (case-rich texts) と，形態的縮減 (deflexion) により，さほど残っていないもの (case-impoverished texts) におおまかに分類している．各テキストにみられる格の「貧富」の差は，時代や方言によるところが大きいが，その他，テキストや写本の伝統に起因するものもあるだろう．初期中英語の格を巡る研究に役立ちそうなので，このテキストの分類を再現しておく．ただし，網羅的なリストではなく，Allen がケース・スタディで利用したテキストのみを掲載しているにすぎないので，注意しておきたい．
