By George, I think he's got it!
Nathan has finally figured it out! Every time we have Nathan walk Logan wants to do it too and takes little baby steps. He's a ham! We were so proud of Nathan...especially since he learned to walk when he was sick!
Snow Day!
Adam took this video a few days ago when we had a huge snow storm roll in! This was the middle of the afternoon. Buuurrrrrrrr!

Does life get any better?
Nathan pulls out the big guns!
This is why you have children! So you can make them do silly things and take their picture!
I don't really need this bib do I?
Sometimes the task of raising and rearing children becomes so daunting that I forget why I chose to be a mother. (besides the fact that it is a commandment!) Today I was able to recount some of the reasons why I really do love being a mom, and why it is well worth the effort!
Here are some recent experiences and reasons why I LOVE being a mother!
1. My children love me effortlessly without expecting anything in return.
2. My children are quick to forgive....and they always forget...most of the time not even realizing when I have made a mistake.
3. My children remind me every day how to have fun and just enjoy being together. The simplest things bring them so much pleasure!
4. It almost brings me to tears when I take the boys grocery shopping and Logan carries the list around the store saying "hmmm..what's next on the list mom?" And Nathan points at all the food and says "num num!" (I'm not sure if I'm nearly to tears because I realize what a mistake it was to bring the children in the first place, or if it's because I'm frantically trying to find everything on the list before Nathan has a chance to throw anything else out of the cart!)
5. Logan waking up and saying "today we need to do laundry mom!" (Does he do this because there are no clean underwear in his drawer?)
6. Nathan coming to me while I am on the computer and grabbing his bottom and saying "poop poop"....how sweet is that!? ....or should I say stinky?
7. Logan thinks doing chores is fun!....he loves emptying the garbages and unloading the dishwasher! (Although it is usually more work for me to let him help...I know he learning responsibility...is that what it's called?!)
8. Whenever Adam comes out of the bedroom with his suit on Logan says "Daddy go to meetings." Nathan cries when he sees Adam leave! (I silently cry with him!)
9. The boys don't even care if my hair doesnt' get done or my make-up isn't on....they still like to play with me!:)
So...we don't get to travel the world, (the boys don't sleep well in hotels) or eat at fancy restaurants (they mostly eat french fries and chicken nuggets), but I can honestly say we are happy! Not always healthy...but happy. I truly feel like we've got it all! I doubt life could honestly get any better than this!

Where have all the presents gone?!
So I'm a little slow at posting for the Holidays. I'm not sure what my deal is, but better late than never! We didn't even get a Christmas card out this year. My apologies to everyone! We had a great Christmas, and the boys had so much fun. Yes...Santa even brought Logan a "small kitchen." See...I had this idea to get him one a couple of months ago because he had so much fun playing kitchen at Grandma Thomas' house...but Adam said "No Way!" So the last few weeks before Christmas the only thing he said he wanted was a "small kitchen." So..Adam talked to Santa a week before Christmas and told him that Logan could no way survive without a small kitchen. Adam got to pick it out, and decided we better go with the one that has a BBQ on one side! Well...Logan loves his kitchen and all the food that came with it! Nathan also mimics him and pretends to eat the food as well. They are so cute that I had to include some pictures of it!
Logan had so much fun opening his presents. Nathan wasn't too interested in un-wrapping, so Logan took care of his for him. For several days after Logan would come out and say "no more presents...presents all gone." We told him there wouldn't be any more presents until his birthday.
