What makes a great Dad?

someone who will wrestle with his kids
someone who will read bed time stories
someone who will brush their teeth
someone who will take them to the hardware store
someone who will change messy diapers
someone who will help them say their prayers
someone who will share m&m's with them
someone who will teach them how to mow the lawn
someone who will tickle them
someone who will love them
someone who who will love their mother
someone who will teach them the gospel
someone who will "lay by you" before bed
someone who will take them swimming
someone who will serve others
someone who will fix dinner
someone who will share his hashbrowns
someone who will play games
someone who will listen
...for all these reasons and many more....Adam....thanks for being such a wonderful Father! Happy Father's Day...We Love You!

(needless to say this is the best photo we could come up with today!)

Why settle for just one slice when you can have the whole loaf?

The other day I made bread...yes...I can actually make bread! Anyway...I always make a couple small loaves just for fun. After several minutes of Nathan yelling, I finally figured out he didn't want a slice of bread, but he wanted the whole loaf! (Mommy and Nathan love homemade toasted bread with butter and honey!....YUM!) I even put half wheat flour in it just to make it a little more healthy!

Rain Drops Keep Falling on my Head!

A couple weeks ago we had a good rain storm. It was actually a little warm outside so we got the umbrellas out and went outside in our bare feet. The boys loved using umbrellas and watching the rain!
