Anniversary!

This is a little out of order, but it has been a little crazy at our house lately, so I just wanted to catch up on some things I missed like Craig's and my anniversary!  I can't believe how fast the past 4 years have flown by! We have been so blessed to have eachother, I can't imagine living my life with anyone other than Craig by my side. He has been the best husband I could ever ask for, I know we really were sent here for eachother. We've been blessed with our two sweet babies, who have brought us even closer together, on our journey home. I thank heaven for the knowledge of eternal families, because juse one liftime with Craig is not enough.

Christmas 2009

This Christmas season has gone by so fast, but it has been really great. It took me a while to get into the present buying mode, mostly because I had no idea what to get anyone, but it all came to me as I forced myself to fight the crowds and check out what was out there. We had a little pre Christmas gathering with my family on tuesday, and headed up to Idaho on Thursday. Cooper did really great on the ride up, I was a little nervous, but he's such a good boy, I don't know why I did. We mad it up safely, no snow in sight so that was a relief, and walked right into the party at Craig's parent's house. It's always a party over there with all his family, we had a really great "cafe rio" dinner and played the candy bar game, which in his family we play with actual gifts not just candy bars, so it's even more fun. We went to Craig's parent's house the next morning to open presents, we got everything we wanted, and everyone else got really great presents too! It was a very happy Christmas morning, Cooper got some really great toys, and lots of cute pajamas! I'm glad other people are more creative than, I am because I had to clue what to get him. He had fun playing with everyone, he loved uncle david's room with all the electronics! Overall it was a really great weekend! I love Christmas and our time to reflect on everything we're grateful for. I'm so grateful for my knowledge of the gospel, without it life just wouldn't make sense. I'm so grateful for Craig, he is just the most wonderful person I could possibly have in my life. I'm so so happy to have my sweet little children, my adorable little girl and boy, perfect little babies. I'm grateful for our families and everything they do for us, and for our home and our jobs. We are just so happy to be where we are.

Twilight

Ok, so I know I'm probably the last women on this planet to have read twilight, but I just finished it . .  and much to my surprise I loved it! I have seen the Twilight and New Moon movies, and on the Twilight DVD they have special features where they do an interview with Stephanie Meyers, and it jsut really inspired me. I've never really been huge into reading, I'm the one who always says, Oh I'll just wait for the movie, and then I end up loving the movies never realizing that the books are even better. My sisters have both read them, and Christina was very persistant in trying to get me to start the series, but as I said before I'd never been really big into reading. However, lately I've been really sick of everything on tv, so I decided I would give it a try! It only took me 1 week to get through the first book, and when I finished it was was so sad because I didn't have the next one to start reading right away! It is just the most perfect teenage love story, it's every girl's fantacy, I think, I just loved it!
I remember when Craig and I were first dating, and how I would always get those huge swarms of butterflies in my stomach. I knew I would love him forever, and that he felt the same way. I knew that he would do anything for me, and after all that we've been through in these 4 short years, I think it's easy to lose sight of those maqical feeling you felt at the beginning of a first love! It's been so fun to remember those feelings I had, and try to bring those out, instead of being so serious all the time.
So this is my reccomendation for the series! If you haven't read it you should, it is just a really fun love story!

Cooper Turns ONE!

I cannot believe how fast this past year has flown by! My baby boy turned one on Tuesday! Cooper is just the cutest little boy, he loves to laugh and enjoy life! Cooper learned to say Hi last week, which is just adorable, and he finally learned to say mama, he has said dada for a while, so I was really excited when he learned mama. He is running around everywhere and just having lots of fun, he is such a silly boy, and just such a precious little spirit. Craig and I are both so proud of our little boy, and so happy that he is a part of our family. We had a little birthday celebration for him on sunday, and we made him a nice little chocolate cupcake, and he ate half of it! He probably would have eaten the whole thing, but he dropped most of it on the floor. He was so funny, we were  standing  around him laughing in amazement, and he was just like what? like it was so big deal. He's just too funny, he keeps us on our toes, and we just love him so much.

Lindsey and Jake's Wedding

My little sister Lindsey was married last weekend to her fiance Jake Handburg. It was a really beautiful we were happy that the weather held out nicely and everything went very smoothly! Weddings are always so fun, and it's so nice to see such a happy couple! Also my mom will want everyone to know that she wasn't able to finish Lindsey's jacket which is why she has bare shoulders.

Yes, I have two children

I don't know what it is, but there are some people out there who can't understand that I have 2 children. I count my precious angel  Bailey as my child, I did carry her for 9 months and gave birth to her! Just imagine what it would be like if I was a stillborn, think how different so many lives would be if I hadn't grown up to be me. I feel that to dismiss her is to dismiss me, because she is a part of me and a part of Craig, she is our child. We may not be fortunate enough to be able to raise her on this earth, but I know with all my heart that we will raise her in the next life, and I hope all her family that denied her existence will be able to face her one day and say they are sorry. She is a person, she was just too perfect, and too precious to have to endure the trials in this earthly life. We may not understand or think it is fair, but never forget her, never forget the undeniable love that I have for her. She is my child plain and simple, she is a daughter, sister, niece, and granddaughter. There is no denying she has a body, and a perfect little spirit, Bailey is a true Daughter of God.

Here is a little reminder of her short time here on earth.

11 MONTHS!

So I cannot believe that Cooper is already 11 months old! He has grown so much in the last month! He is now walking all the time, he can open cupboards and droors, but fortunately isn't really worried about it yet. He LOVES I mean LOVES to read books, it is the cutest thing, his favorite is Goodnight Gorilla, I don't know if it's the pictures or what but he loves it. He also loves music, it all started with singing time in my nursery class, and now he can't get enough. He finally learned to wave bye, he was working on it for a while, and just got the hang of it. Cooper just broke 2 more teeth for a total of 8 now, so he's got all of his front teeth. My sweet little Cooper has finally come to realize that hugs are nice, and that he doesn't need to pull away when they are given, which is just the sweetest thing ever! But, he still doesn't really like kisses, sometimes he will let me, but not very often, but we do it anyways! He is just a boy all around, and we love him so much! Here are some pictures of my very happy little boy who loves to laugh all the time! My mom, Christina, Kennedy, Craig, Cooper, and I visited a local farm to pick up some pumpkins, and Cooper had a blast crawling through all the straw, he thought it was so funny !

Part Time Walker

Cooper has started walking! He is doing really great, he started about 3 weeks ago, but is really starting to enjoy it now, and actually wants to do it! He will walk and walk, then just fall and crawl away really fast. Everyone says he looks so cute, cause he's so small and he takes little quick steps, cause I guess he's always in a hurry! I will post a video soon, but he always just wants the camera when we try to tape him, so it's hard to get a good shot. It's so exciting to see my little boy growing up, and learning so many new things.

CONFERENCE

This Conference weekend was so great, I have really noticed as I've gotten older how much it really means to me. I really appreciated all of the talks that were given, and I'm really really terrible with names or remembering all of the details, but I just feel so uplifted, and ready to conquer another 6 months till the next one. It's so interesting to me, how the leaders of the church are so inspired! I really felt like they touched so well of the terrible things that are going on in this world right now, but added that there is hope! We have the tools to safeguard our selves and our families, if we will just strive to use those tools everyday. I feel that it is so important to have the spirit in or home, especially with all of the junk I hear at work, it is so nice to come home to a peaceful place. It's so fun when Craig and I can watch it together, and make goals for us and for our little family, so that we can be good examples for little Cooper. I just loved one of the talks, and they talked about a woman who had died and picked the inscription for her headstone to say " Please no empty chairs" and I absolutely loved that! I thought, we need to strive to make it to the Celestial Kingdom, so that we can be with our sweet Bailey girl, because I know that she wants her whole family there with her again! I know that we are so blessed to have this gospel, and to have eternal families, and I don't know where I would be without that knowledge! If you didn't have the opportunity to watch it you should pick up a copy of the Ensign when it comes out for the Conference edition, it was very inspiring!

Cooper's First Game!

So it took a little persistence, but I finally convinced Craig to take Cooper with him to the BYU football game on Saturday. I had to work like every other Saturday, and I knew my mom could use a Saturday off  too, so Cooper was a big boy and went to the game with daddy! He was totally out when he got home, but he got a good report, Craig said he did really well! Coop probably won't go to every game, but it's so cute for them to have their boys night out sometimes!

WILD MAN

Cooper has grown up so much in the last month! It's so hard to believe he will be 10 months old this week! He LOVES to go outside for walks and to sit on the porch. I am in nursery so I take him with me and he loves to play with all the kids, it's so cute. He is not walking on his own quite yet, but he is interested more every day, but he is a little speed crawler! He is so funny too, he loves to laugh hysterically at whatever you do. He is just so much fun! Here's a few pictures of what he's been up to lately!

UP AND RUNNING!

I've finally finished our new vinyl lettering blog! I've posted a link to it right under the about me area, so go check it out!

Happy Birthday Craig!

Today Craig turns 28! What an old man haha! It seems when you get older birthdays just sneak up on you, you don't do the countdown anymore like when you were young. But birthdays are so exciting, and we like to try to make them special! I will be making him chicken wings and a carrot cake today at his request, and we get money for our birthdays from our parents, so he is excited to go shopping!

VINYL LETTERING

My mom decided that she doesn't want to do vinyl lettering anymore, so has passed the cutter down to me! Craig and I are very excited, so it will probably take us a while to get everything up and running. We are hoping to start our own very small business, so if anyone needs anything, or know someone who does, we will be setting up a blog and everything shortly!

9 Months!

I can't believe my tiny little baby boy is already 9 months old! He has grown up so fast. He is just the sweetest little baby, he is talking all the time, crawling everywhere, and practically running (while holding onto furniture of course). We went to his doctor appointment last week, and his doctor was so impressed at everything he is doing. Cooper is so crazy and burning so many calories that he only gained a couple of pounds, but that is normal for his age, but he is now 17.2 pounds and 28.5 inches tall! He is such a sweetie pie, I love how curious he is, he's always looking for an adventure. He is such a good eater too, anything we're eating he wants some! Hopefully that will continue as he gets older, so we don't have a picky eater on our hands! We just love our baby boy and are so grateful for him, he is so healthy and strong!

Bailey Turns 2!

I cannot believe it has been 2 years since we welcomed our sweet Angel into this world. Sometimes the emotions just hit me, and it feels like yesterday that we heard the news. I know that life must go on, and it needs to for Cooper, but sometimes I just need to travel back, back to a time where I didn't feel so sad sometimes, to when I didn't know such sad and lonely things could happen. I miss my baby girl so much. This past month has been really hard for us, but I am so proud of how far we have come. I know Bailey is so proud of me, that I can make it through a day, and a week, a month and even two or three without crying for her. I know that Bailey wants me to be a great mommy for her baby brother, because she misses him too. I know that our family had been blessed in ways we can't even imagine both on this earth and when we return to heaven, because Bailey was willing to cut her time on this earth short to serve in heaven. It is amazing to know that I am her mommy, and I love it. It's so strange how she appears just at the right times, her name it everywhere! Whenever I see her name on a sign, or see a little girl who has the same name, I know it's her way of saying that she's here and everything is going to be ok. What an amazing reunion it will be to see my baby girl again in Heaven, words cannot even describe the joy her mommy and daddy will feel when we see her again. Till we meet again Bailey, stay close to mommy and help her stay strong. Watch over baby brother Cooper, he loves you so much, my misses his big sissy. Daddy loves you too baby girl, and wishes you were here to watch football games with him, and sing and dance. We love you little Bailey girl, keep working hard, and we'll see you soon.

Here is Bailey's turning 2 video, it does have music so turn it up!

Memorial

So we attended Grandpa Cray's memorial on Monday, it was really beautiful. It was fun to hear silly stories about him,and see all of his family gather together to remember him. It was a pleasure to know him over these last few years, and he was a really great Grandpa. It was so sad to see Grandma Cray say her last good bye, as they lowered him into the ground, I told Craig I never want to do that, it just looked so painful.I'm happy though, because he is in a much better place, he is seeing his twin brother again which I think would be so amazing, and he is also seeing all of his other family including his son who died at a young age. What a wonderful time it is for him to be freed of all his ailments, and he to able to breath and walk again. He will be missed.

Weekend get away

So we finally went on a vacation this year! It has been a year since our last one so it was so nice to get away from work and everyday life for a while. We went up to Idaho for our annual GFL Draft, if you don't know what it is don't ask haha. It was really really fun though I know Craig really loves it and he was proud to have his baby boy there. It does bring some sad feelings though because I always think of 2 years ago when we couldn't go because I was about to pop with Bailey. That is the night Craig and I talked about what if she died, Craig wanted to go himself so bad but I couldn't let him leave because I was so scared something would happen. It was so strange that I almost knew that she wasn't going to live, like I was being prepared for it. It is so hard to talk about, especially with her 2nd birthday coming up, but I know it is important. It was very soothing to have baby Cooper at the draft with me this year though! He is my little miracle, I don't know what I would do without him! Cooper had fun playing with all the cousins! I think he thinks girls have cooties still though, haha.We all had so much fun, and we sad to come back home to real life.

Video behind the pics

Here is a video of Cooper, it was after we had taken the pictures in the previous post so he was a little cranky by then. Usually he will stand up to his tob box and pull out all of his toys, he loves to make a mess!

Self Sufficient

My big boy Coop is growing up everyday! He is always learning new things, and he is so proud of himself. He has been crawling for a while now, he is standing up on his own, and even knows how to fall so he doesn't hurt himself! When he can stand without holding onto something he gets so excited and has a big smile on his face, it's so precious. He just learned how to say dada which Craig loves, and he just cut his third tooth.

All Grown Up

So Craig has finally decided what he wants to go to school for! I know it's been a long time coming, but we are so excited! He started his first day yesterday and he's so excited. He is getting an associates in Medical Specialties. We had been talking about him doing all kinds of things, but if you know Craig, he's not a 4 year college type of guy. We had talked about him going into nursing school since it's only 2 years, and it just so happened 2 days later I had a customer come in to get his haircut and told me about the program his wife had just started. You learn all kinds of medical stuff, CNA, phlebotomy, EMT, medical billing, and the list goes on. I thought this is PERFECT for Craig! So I went home and told him about it and he said let's do it! So keep him in your prayers because he's going to be doing 4 16 hour days a week, for 20 months, but it will be worth it!

Daddy's Boy

Cooper just loves his daddy! They love to play and watch sports, and do all kinds of daddy son things it is just so precious! We are trying to get him to say Dada but he can only mouth it no words come out it's pretty funny.
