29 Months

My sweet baby girl so small and still
I know you had to leave here
to honor God's will.
My little girl, my precious one
you know I wish that you could come.
Stay with me each night and day,
for I know you hear me when I pray,
Father in Heaven grant me the strength
to live each day with love
and remember my sweet baby girl
who lives with you in her home above.

I love my sweet baby girl, I think about her every day, and even though some may think it's time to move on, or that I shouldn't talk about her I have to. I have to remember, I cannot forget, she is so special. It brings tears to my eyes every time I think about her, she is just so special, I know she is doing such amazing things in heaven. It's hard to imagine what it would be like to have her here, but she is so blessed to be so perfect not to have to endure this life, to never be tempted, never feel pain. I know when we meet again that it will be more perfect than I can imagine. I know her spirit lives on with me, and it's so exciting that my little niece McKinley Elizabeth was named after her, I know they will have a special bond.Bailey is wonderful, amazing, perfect, indescribable. I love you my sweet little girl.

New Hair

So those who commented on my last post, both mentioned that they like my new hair color! I just wanted to say thanks, we got Paul Mitchell color at our salon, so I just had to try it out! I really love the color, I think I'll keep it for a while, since I've changed my hair color several times in the last couple of months. What can I say though, I'm always up for something new!

14 Months

I know I always say it, but I really cannot believe how fast Cooper is growing up! The time is just flying by so fast, but it sure is fun! Cooper is a very silly little boy, he is always trying to make everyone smile and laugh, he will say hi to anybody! He is really great at saying hi, and he can wave 2 ways, one just flapping his hand and the other he can fold his fingers up and down, he really loves to do it both ways, it's pretty funny. Cooper learned how to climb onto his little chair, and then onto the big chair, and then onto the couch, it all happened so fast! Haha, but fortunately he learned his lesson early, that he has to be careful or he will fall and get hurt. He also learned how to bring things to us, like he knows he can't play with the remote, and so if we leave it where he can get it, he will just bring it over and hold it out, it's so cute, he's such a good little helper. I don't know if I have mentioned it before but I'm in the nursery, and we moved up this year, so we teach the big kids, and so it's so funny to see little Cooper in there like he's their size, he just fits right in haha. Sometimes the kids look at him like he's crazy, but hopefully that means he will be a pro by the time he's ready to go to his own class.

Steven

My brother Steven left for Iraq in November, and I came upon this picture of him on his facebook, and it just made me laugh. When I think of war, this is probably what I would think of, however, I never thought I would see my brother in that image. I'm just so proud of Steven and the sacrafices that he has made. We're so lucky to live in a free country, and to have brave men and women willing to fight for that freedom. I am so grateful to my Father in Heaven, who I know is watching over him. Please keep him and all the other soldiers in your prayers, that they may return home safely to their families. We love and miss you Steven.
