Lights, lights, lights.

It has been fun this year because we've been able to take the girls to see the lights at the Mesa Temple. They love it, it is fun for them to walk around in them. They love to see Baby Jesus and hear the music that is being played, but their favorite is the fountains that have floating lights on them, it is hard to pull them away. :)

2 Brown Buns

The girls had their first experience being on stage last week at our church Christmas party. They dressed up like cinnamon buns and sang a song about. .. .. cinnamon buns. It was really cute, or so I am told, because the whole time I was trying to keep Rory from squirming and throwing her costume off the stage.

Our Daddy the Chef

Here is a picture of Jared at school and some of the fancy shmancy food he made. He is loving every minute of it, and it shows in the things he makes. He is almost to the halfway mark, he'll graduate in July and start his externship shortly after.

Apple Annie's

Here are some pictures from our trip down to Wilcox, AZ where we got 120 pounds of apples from Annie's Apple Orchard. (They are delicious, even if the trees looks sad and puny). The girls loved running through the trees, playing in the leaves, and of course eating the apples.




Ella and Rory are quite the little hams, now. They each have great, and different, sense of humors. Most of the time it is Rory who is making Ella giggle these days. It is so funny to hear them laughing together at some unknown joke.

Shaun and I put this costume together, I think that it turned out pretty neat-looking.

In the Woods

We took a family vacation up to the white mountains, stayed in a beautiful cabin and enjoyed the cool, crisp fall weather. Ella and Rory loved walking around and exploring outside. It was so nice to get out of the heat and enjoy some fresh mountain air!

Shaun loves playing with Ella and Rory, they are like the little sisters he never had. Here are some shots of the trip.

Trick or Treat. . . .already?!!

I know it isn't Halloween yet, but here are the girls in their costumes. . . .I had to make sure they fit!! :)
Ella and Rory are such good friends now, they play together all day and giggle together while falling asleep. I hope they will always be such good friends! Ella loves to hold Rory's hand, she loves helping Rory and especially telling her what to do. Rory loves doing everything Ella does, so hopefully she will be potty trained soon.
