Holy Trinity Church

Our final stop was Holy Trinity Church.  It is not a very old church but the Ethiopians are very religious.  It was neat to see them worshiping.  Lily was amazed by how similar to Islam some of the Catholic customs were.  The ladies all had their heads covered and you took your shoes off to enter.  Outside the church we witnessed a rival of sorts.  They were singing, dancing and playing the drums.   It was neat to see!

Lion Zoo

The Lion Zoo was recommended by the driver and NOT at all what were expecting.  It was very small and dirty.  They did have numerous lions and a few other cool animals but overall was depressing to see the conditions

Tortious

Coming out of the museum our driver asked us if we wanted to see a turtle.  We were thinking little ones but were pleased to see the large ones!

Lucy!

Lucy is the from 3.2 million years ago and is the oldest human ancestor found.  The bones in the case are what was actually found.  The skeleton standing is a recreation of her.  We were shocked at how small she is!
