Debbie was at the Minneapolis Zoo for their Zoo Boo night and sent me this picture of an amazingly carved pumpkin. I didn't even think it was real when I first saw it, but it is. I have no idea how they did that, but it's quite an impressive pumpkin carving!
Shipping to and fro
Like I mentioned earlier, lots of items for Forge have been coming to the house. Greg helped me get everything packed up and ready to ship on Monday night. Off to Forge it goes!
At the same time, some sweatshirts I ordered for our next team meeting showed up in Indy. Lauren sent me this picture to show me how they turned out. Lauren also shipped a couple of boxes to Forge for me from Indy. Lots of shipping lately!
Touches of fall
Our new little tree's leaves are already changing color...
And one of our big trees is just starting to turn too. I love to see the touches of fall.
Operation Mincemeat
Greg and I went to Chicago to see the Broadway tour of Operation Mincemeat. It is so fantastic. So fantastic!
It was a wonderful night at a wonderful show!
Watching the Harris kids
Greg and I spent Friday night watching the Harris kids so Tim and Alyssa could go to a concert in St. Louis without having to make a late night trip home. On Friday we played games, took the kids to Culvers, and watched the Emperor's New Groove. Saturday morning we played more games, did a few craft projects, and colored on the paper that the construction crew (they have house reno projects going on) put on the floor. It was a busy and fun filled 19 hours!
A fun weekend for Zach
Zach had a mission reunion on Conference weekend, then went to Park City with friends to watch conference in an amazing penthouse, and then got together with Carmel friends. What a fun weekend! Here are a few pictures he sent us.
Monday fun & a birthday
One of my favorite things is to be on the phone with the kids on Mondays when Ava calls.
We looked up Ava's new area...
And then just enjoyed our time together.
The kids were finding all kinds of fun ways to change the pictures.
At the end of the call, I got to talk to Andrew for his birthday. 25 years old. Oh how I have loved this boy more than I can express for the past 25 years. Happiest of happy birthdays Andrew. I love you.
Forge, Forge, everywhere Forge
My biggest event of the year is coming up next week and a bunch of Forge items have been coming to the house. These are decks of cards that I had made for each of the companies that are attending.
I made Forge ones too. This is just one tiny element to brand the event. One tiny element in months and months of planning. I'm so excited for the event - wish me luck!
Our anniversary dinner
Greg and I went out for our anniversary and had a great dinner.
I didn't take pictures of the main dinner, but this was the dessert.
It's kind of an eclectic place, with some fun decor...it was the perfect place to spend our anniversary.
Our trees are in
We got three new trees, but we had to wait for the weather turn get a little colder before they wanted to put them in. Here is the one that replaces one of the big trees we lost in the tornado.
This pine looks so tiny next to the big ones, but it's actually 6 feet tall. This replaces a pine that was as big as the one beside it - also lost in the tornado.
We put this tree in as the last part of the new landscaping in the front of the house. We love it.
The front is finally done!
An amazing photo
Greg's brother in law Dick took this picture of his and Cyndi's horses. It is seriously amazing. I don't think it looks real. Seriously amazing!
I see us
I don't usually think of Zach and me as looking alike, but for whatever reason, when I look at this picture I think Zach looks like me. I love that I see us in this picture!
New lights
We replaced all of the bulbs in the lights on the house with new, brigher bulbs. We love how it looks!
A relaxing Sunday
We went to church on Sunday morning and then came home, had leftovers, talked, and played games. All...day...long! It was great. Kade and Rachel came over in the late afternoon too and stayed until closing time. It was a great way to end the trip.
Playla 2026
You have to start with a face tattoo!
Or maybe tiny hand tattoos.
Our mocktail mixology class.
One of the activities I did this year was a photo scavenger hunt. You had to find places in the museum, take pictures, and turn them in for a chance to win a prize. This is picture 1.

And 7!
We did the underpass challenge where you build a bridge using legos and see how much weight it can hold. This was just the beginning...
And this is where we completely maxed out the weight they had available!
Egg mazes...
Silent disco!
And tricycle time!
Back to the silent disco to dance the after party away!
It was a super fun night and I'm so glad Ken and Kim came to support me, help, and play!
