Milla is a former wealthy school friend of Galinda when the two attended school at Shiz University's Crage Hall. She later marries Boq.
Biography[]
Attending Shiz University’s Crage Hall, Milla is one of Galinda's cronies back before she was known as "Glinda". She later marries fellow student, and apparent school sweetheart, Boq and moves with him to the rural Nest Hardings region of Munchkinland where they live in a well-kept farmhouse with a yellow domed roof and have multiple children. Boq writes that Milla is miserable there and has often attempted suicide. By the end of the novel, she has apparently accepted her life on the farm with Boq, and has "kept her figure," in Elphaba's mind.
