Wedding Video!!

Thanks to the wonderful job by Ryan Hinman and Brody Dezember. I had to shrink the video so it's not as good of quality as the one he sent me, so know he did awesome. We missed you Brett! (If the video gets stuck, just move the arrow a little bit ahead and it will start again.)

We May Be Irish Somewhere Down the Line

Last night I came home from my late night at work and Dallin had found corned beef and cabbage for dinner to celebrate St. Patty's Day. I'd never had it and am somewhat leery of weird meat (thank you Ecuador) but it was really good. The cabbage - not so much. But I did enjoy the carrots and potatoes with it as well. It was so nice of him to get dinner all ready for us. I really appreciate it babe! (Pictures to come)

Nothing entirely new to report except that I'm loving American Idol this year. Danny, Adam, Kris and Allison. I'll be so sad when people get voted off that I like because there are so many of them! This year is super talented and I'm proud to report that I've converted my in-laws and husband to the show and I'm glad we can all sit around and talk about it.

Funny story...I went to the grocery store last night to pick up dessert for our meal (skinny cow ice cream bars! Yum! Yes, we're on a diet. Three days in) and I was looking for one of those things you put on the toothpaste tube to squeeze it all out and get every last drop. So I found the toothpaste and as I was looking for the thingy, I noticed the baby aisle is shared with the toothpaste and just as I was processing, "I hope I don't see anyone I know because this is the BABY aisle..." I hear an, "I know you! Why are you on the BABY aisle?!" My cousin Melysa. I quickly explained and we laughed about it. NO, I am NOT pregnant. Lets just clear that up now so nobody asks. Three years people, maybe in three years. We have a lot of things to do and see first. Yes, I'd like to explain my recent chubbiness on eating for two, but I'm just eating for me, hence the diet. Just so you know. :)

Update

So I haven't posted in a while because I keep forgetting to download my pictures and I prefer to post with pictures. Well, since I have a few minutes (without my camera) I'm going to post anyway and post the pictures later.

One thing I wanted to mention was Dallin's dinner he cooked the other night. I had to work late so he fixed up some stuff for me. We had milenesa's from his parent's house so he had those all fried up and also some raviolis as a side dish and made a salad with vegetables. He shopped and cooked everything himself and I was so proud of him and it was so yummy! I have to work late one night a week so hopefully I'll get to enjoy more of his creations.

Last week was super fun. My brother sits on the Varsity basketball team for his high school and they took State! Dallin and I went and watched the game on Tuesday then they played Thursday, Friday and in the championship on Saturday because they just kept winning! A few games gave us heart attacks (Double OT, winning by slim margins) but they had so much heart and it was so fun to see my brother so happy, smiling from ear to ear. He was so excited he couldn't even put a sentence together. I'm glad his team made him feel a part of everything even though he didn't play (still recovering from that blasted lung) but he enjoyed every minute and it was fun to see!

I also chopped my hair this weekend. I've been wanting to do something different for forever but my stylist wouldn't let me since I needed it long for the wedding up-do. So in defiance of winter, it's super blonde and shoulder-length. It's nice to have something different since I've had the same haircut for about three years. My brother said it's a "married haircut." I don't know what that means except that it makes me look married?? LOL. Pictures coming soon!
