Playing tourist with Terri
Terri, recently moved to NYC from Sydney was in town for Memorial Day weekend. She is the 2nd Lin sister I've hosted in San Diego (after Denise, last year Memorial Day) and Michelle will come mid July. It is always good to have someone from home visit and play tourist in your own city once in a while. Weather was awesome and sunny, and went by too quickly.

Memorial Day Weekend - playing tourist with Terri
What a stressful busy week and was looking forward to the 4 day weekend. Terri was due to visit from NYC. Haven't seen her for many years, when her sister Michelle and us left high school, she was still in primary school. After 13 years in Sydney, she recently moved to the Big Apple. Looked forward to bringing her around San Diego and it's always good to be a tourist in your own city once in a while.
Terri got in mid morning. We walked by the waterfront, by the USS Midway, on to Seaport Village, by the Convention Center and had lunch at Tin Fish. After lunched, walked by Petco Park, to Gaslamp Quarter, Santa Fe Station and then headed home. Simple hotpot at home for dinner.

Checked out the Museum of Photographic Arts and walked around Balboa Park before tea at Extraordinary Desserts in Hillcrest after that. Too bad we were late, so we had to forgo watching The Avengers that evening.

May babies
Had dimsum birthday lunch with some friends at Jasmine. It's been a while since I went there. Was good to catch up with everyone since I last saw there some months back. Also a belated celebration for Yasuko, a fellow May baby :) Ended up at Extraordinary Desserts in Hillcrest for dessert after that with Yumi.
