Happy 60th Birthday Pops!

The morning of Pop's 60th birthday we were there to celebrate with him!! We made him pancakes and he had some candles to blow out-- and Hattie had a blast blowing out the candles over and over and over!

Then that evening, she thought she needed to help Pops blow out the candles again!

After Christmas Fun

After Christmas we stayed in Kosy for a few days and enjoyed being with family.  Pops taught Hattie the famous JD Flip.
Hattie wore some interesting outfits while she cooked!
We took group selfies using the new camera and the remote control on the cell phone.

Josh and I were able to have a day date to Jackson one day!  It was a blast.  We had sushi for lunch and then shopped and did some exchanging.
Vegetable chopping was an all time favorite task!

Santa Came to Visit Hattie

Santa came to see Hattie and he was very good to her!  He left a kitchen and all the necessary items to cook a delicious meal.
She got busy cooking right away!
Then she invited Aunt Julie to come and cook with her.
Once the meal was cooked she enjoyed eating it at her new table and chairs.
The Hattie size North Face backpack was a hit as well!
and the Little People Doll house has gotten hots of play time as well.
Our sweet girl posing in front of the tree.
KK and Pops getting lunch ready.
Aunt Julie getting some love.

Merry Christmas Eve

We spent the days before Christmas in Starkville with the Abrahams. Hattie and Caden played (and argued), wrestled, and made lots of memories!
Whitney and I started a cookie decorating tradition with the kiddos and we had as much fun as they did! The cookies were not pretty to look at but we had a large time making them.

Caden's new favorite activity is to wrestle and he will partake in the act with whoever will join him. Hattie was his unsuspecting victim a time or two-- she wasn't too fond of his antics.
It was a ROCKING Christmas!
The big Abraham boys got a visit from Santa too!
Merry Christmas Eve.

Last Week of School before Christmas

The morning after the Little Ladies party I woke up and felt terrible.  After an afternoon in the doctors office..... my flu test was negative..... but I got tamiflu and kept on keeping on.

Hattie didn't like it that I couldn't love on her and hold her.....................

I didn't miss a day of school.......

and Jingle continued with his antics......

After I was feeling better there were some late nights trying to get caught up so that I could have a Christmas party at school.
Monogramming orders were left to be done......

But.... it all got done and it's  Christmas BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas Parade

This year we went downtown to watch the Christmas Parade and the weather was unusually warm.  We joined Jason Warren's Team at their new office and had hot chocolate and cookies as we watched the parade floats and bands.

The Darseys joined us and these girls were much more into the parade this year than they  were last year.

Holiday Tree Festival

IMG_8126[1]

After months of hard work, the week finally arrived for Holiday Tree Festival.  Tuesday night 55 women took over the country club to fully decorate 10 Christmas trees, wrap 50 ornaments for a grab bag, and arrange silent auction items.  Tuesday night I didn’t take any pictures, but I sure wish I had. It was so much fun.  This was my first tree fest to be involved in and I had a blast.  IMG_8113[1]

Wednesday night Sara Beth and I met there with a few of the other board members to wrap up a few loose ends and arrange the trees with 55 other opinions on what should go where.
