Now I can laugh about it, but I wasn't too happy then. It took forever to get that lipstick off of him, especially out of his hair. He had some stuck in his ears for a few days, but I guess boys will be boys. Although when writing about lipstick and kids you would think that it would be with little girls. Aiye!

Beach

We also squeezed in a trip to the beach!

This was the only picture that I could get of all 4 kids and of course no one looked at me!

Barcis

When in Italy we also went to Barcis which is a little place nestled in the Alps. The snow melts and then runs down the mountains into these little streams. We took a very nice walk along the stream in the freezing cold water, good thing it was hot outside ;)

The boys were so tired after our little adventure that they grabbed some chips and sat in the trunk for a little rest.

Later on we went out for dinner and then for gelato (ice cream). It was so yummy!!!

Zachary was a sweetheart and shared his gelato with Lori. It was so cute!

Venice

Over the 4th of July holiday weekend we took a family trip down to Italy to visit with our friends, Jason and Cheryl, that are stationed at Aviano AFB, about an hour outside of Venice. They were nice enough to watch the boys for a day while Allan and I got to go and tour Venice. Here are some pictures from our day:
