Growing up with Holland

Holland was born on November 1, 2004. she had red CURLY hair. Her hair looked like a little afro. She was and is such a sweet little girl. she does have some fire to her though. She will tell you what she thinks. She isn't afraid to do anything. She loves school and pink is her favorite color. She loves Barbies and playing house. She is a joy to have in our family. She is our comic relief and that is why I think she needed to be part of our family. We need her. She can make us all smile even on the darkest of days. I love you Holland and I am so proud to be your Mom.

Holland's first Birthday party

Today Holland had a Birthday Party. The first one! I didn't tell her all week that she was having one because she was sick all week and I was afraid I would have to cancel it. She did get well enough so that we could have it. She was so excited this morning when I told her. We invited all of her friends from church. We played Twister, Cat's tail, freeze dance, musical chairs (modified with wash cloths, I didn't have small chairs) Disney's Scene It (didn't get that game) so we turned on Mickey's Once upon a Christmas. They had a great time giggling and laughing. It was fun to watch.

Great Friends!

Twister

Cat's tail. They had to try to stomp the tail off of each other. They ran around and played and laughed and giggled. They loved this game.

Sydney, Lindsy, and Jorga

Holland and her very best friend Lydia

Sydney. She was so quiet but came out of her shell after the cake. I guess sugar is good for something right?

Sydney wanted her's just right. Everyone else was done and she was still decorating.

Lindsy and Jorga dancing

Freeze Dance (dance and when the music turns off you freeze into a pose.)

Musical wash cloths. We played this one twice. A very popular game.

Second game of Twister by request of Sydney.
