The Boondocks!!!

This year when we went to Utah, we decided to make this a real vacation. We saved up some extra money so we could do some fun things in addition to Bear Lake. We went to the Boondocks. A place that has multiple activities. Golf, race cars, arcade games, laser tag, bumper boats and food!! We took Shawn's Mom with us and enjoyed the whole day there! It was so much fun to go and play with the kids. We all had so much fun spending time together. It was so needed. Shawn has been working a lot and so this was so fun to have family time.

They had a 4D movie inside. Dominick looked so cute in his glasses.

Golfing was so much fun! The kids did great. Holland and Dominick worked so hard to get the little ball in the hole. That made for a lot of entertainment for the rest of us.

Always love Brittin's poses! We had so much fun!!!

Grandma Janae came and joined us for the fun!

Games! We played the games inside for a while. You earn tickets to get a prize. Right off the bat Holland tried a game and won 350 tickets. she was hooked! The greedy little girl went around trying to find the games that would pay out the most tickets. She won some pretty neat prizes later. Dominick loved skee ball. It was so fun watching them play. Chloe and Brittin tried laser tag and had so much fun.

The bumper boats. These were in water and you could squirt your neighbor. Chloe and Brittin decided to gang up on Shawn. This was the result....soaked!

The cars! We had so much fun on these that we had to do it several times!!

Brittin was too small to drive the BIG cars so she had to do the kiddie ones if she wanted to drive alone. Bummer!

Getting ready to drive the cars. Great practice for Chloe!! :)

A day with Mom and Dad

Dominick and Holland were really missing Chloe and Brittin the week they went to camp, so we decided to have a day with just them. We took them to a small town here in Kansas City that had the cutest little train to ride on. Admission was only $.50 for two times around the track. The kids loved it! We rode it two times and then went to the Zona Rosa (outdoor mall) to run through the fountains. I have never had so much fun in my life. It was a blast watching the two of them have fun. The also loved going home and bragging to their sisters about their day with Mom and Dad.

The fountains down at the Zona Rosa (an outdoor mall). The kids had a great time!!

Chloe's Birthday!

Chloe turned 15 this year! Wow I am the Mom of a 15 year old!! She just got her learners permit and is so excited to learn to drive. I can't believe how old she is. How old I am. She is such a sweet girl and she is growing up so fast I can't keep up. We had to do Chloe's Birthday late this year again because of camp. We also had to split it up. We gave her the presents one night and then did the rest of the birthday another night. I know weird but Shawn's schedule dictated it and Chloe really wanted her presents. So we let her have them since she already had to wait an extra week for them. It was so fun to celebrate her birthday with her and we always love it when Shawn sings Happy Birthday at the top of his lungs. He is so loud and off key I think we should apologize to the neighbors.....lol! I love you my sweet Chloe!

We wrapped up a cell phone box with nothing in it as a little joke. Chloe wants a cell phone so bad she can taste it. She asks all the time for one. She has told us she is the only one in school that doesn't have one in hopes that will get it for her. NOPE!!

The CHI flat iron that Chloe has wanted for a very long time!

We all love Dad's version of Happy Birthday!

Chloe's piano recital

Chloe had her piano recital in June. She did so well! I love to hear her play. I love to go and see what she is working on and hear the music come together that she has practiced so hard. I had a serious proud Mom moment!

Chloe's piano teacher. Tamera. Side note look at the beautiful windows in this church. I love going to her recitals because they are in this cute little church and all the windows in their chapel are stained glass. It is breath taking.
