Maps are the playing field in Typical Colors 2. A space that your character can move around in is usually considered a map.

Each map has its own specific gamemode attached to it, with its own unique objectives required for a team to win the round. The maps vary in size accordingly to these objectives. For an in-depth description of each game mode, visit its respective page.

Legend

Take these into account while viewing the maps:

  • An active map is a map that is in the current map pool, and is playable through joining a normal server.
  • An active (console/mobile only) map is a map that is in the current map pool, but can only be found in servers exclusively meant for Mobile or Console players.
  • An active (rare) map is a map that is in the current map pool, but is rarer than the other active maps. The rarity can be a small to huge difference.
  • A seasonal map is a map that is temporarily available during specific times of the year, such as Summer, Halloween and Christmas.
  • A temporarily retired map is a map that was temporarily removed from the active map pool and will be added back again soon.
  • A retired map is a map that was once in the active map pool that is no longer publicly available, but can still be accessed in community servers.
  • A community server exclusive map is a map that is only playable through selecting it from the community server map list.
  • A competitive server exclusive map is a map that is only playable through selecting it from the competitive server map pool or a Developer and Contributor picking it.
  • A developer only map is a map that is only playable if a Developer or Contributor picks the map.
  • A removed map is self-explanatory; it is no longer in the game whatsoever, not even in community servers.
  • A scrapped map is a map that was meant to be in the active map pool, but never ended up being in the game due to various reasons.
  • An unreleased map is a map that is currently being worked on and will be added soon to the active map pool.
