Home.

We went home a little while back and spent a week in Cedar.
While we were there we did all sorts of fun stuff.

We went up to the Mountain.
Hiked Angels Landing.
Ray helped the Old Phat Guys win their first game.
Went to the Lake.
Ray played in the Summer Games Softball Tourny.
I went to Ashlee's baby shower.
And we went to the Rodeo.

I spaced out on taking pictures and didn't get a single picture at the lake, at the summer games tournament, at the shower, or at the rodeo.

Lame.

But below are all the fun facts of the stuff I did get pictures of........

Old Phat Guys.

My Dad put together a softball team this year and they called themselves
The Old Phat Guys
and that pretty much sums up who played on the team...

Just kidding... but seriously.

Some of the guys' sons play on the team, but even that doesn't really help.
They are horrible. They haven't won a game all season.
But they love it and they have a lot of fun.

They put Ray on the roster so if we were ever down there when they had a game he would play.
Lucky for us we showed up just in time for the final tournament and Ray was there to help the Old Phat Guys win their first game!

It was sooo exciting!

Final Score..... 15-18

Notice they even got Old Phat Guy shirts and hats.
They are pretty legit.

And even though they were the worst team in the league...
They had the loudest cheering section!

We are extremely proud of our Old Phat Guys!

Angels Landing.

We decided that we wanted to hike Angels Landing... So we did.
And that is seriously how fast the decision making process went.

Angels Landing is a very steep hike and it goes all the way to the top of this mountain...

At some spots, you have to pretty much scale the side of the mountain while holding on to a chain.
Crazy.

But the view at the top is totally worth it.

Yes, that's right. We are hanging our heads over the edge.
People have fallen off and died up there but did Ray care... Nope.

Oh, and we got to stand in a giant hole....?

And on the way up we saw these cute little things..
Who knew baby owls were so fuzzy?

And after all that hard work, my mom treated us with a fabulous lunch at Oscar's.
(Which I highly recommend if you are ever in Springdale)
Thanks Mom!

Hogsheaven.

Right when we got home we headed up to Hogsheaven to help move cows.
This is the only time I was able to help this spring, so I made sure to soak it all in.

We went up Friday night and came home Saturday.
It was really rainy most of the time and even started hailing.
But it was absolutely beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen it so green up there.

All the rain made for a very muddy ride home.
Thanks for getting us out alive Uncle Dan!

Hatched.

We went home last week and when we got back our 4 little eggs had turned into 4 little baby birdies.

These are for Miss Hunter.

Here are their fuzzy little heads...

And this is what they did when Ray started taking pictures.
They thought he was the mama bird coming to feed them...

Kinda weird having baby birds on our front door, but still kinda fun.

Little Birdie.

The other day one of my friends was telling me that a bird had made a nest in her wreath.
I thought it was hilarious because I had never heard of anything like that before.
But low-and-behold, the very next day Ray walked out the door and found this...

The first day there was only one little blue egg, but the next day there were two, the next there were three, and now there are four.

It has been kinda funny because the mama bird (or daddy bird... Ray says the dad's are the ones that sit on the eggs) is very protective and is always hanging around looking out for the little eggs.

I went to take the trash out one morning and the bird was in the nest. It flew away right when I started opening the door but it was kind of going haywire. I thought it was going to attack me.

But you know what, little bird, that's what you get for building your nest on someone's front door!

Grand Tetons.

We decided, since we are young and don't have any kids, that we are going to live it up this summer.
And since we live right in the middle of some fun national parks, we figured we would start there.
So, the other day we packed up and headed to the Grand Teton National Park.

We saw a whole lot of these...

A bunch of these...

And after seeing all of these...

We even saw this!

We took a 5 mile hike...

That ended here...
Hidden Falls. Absolutely Beautiful!
(It looks bigger in real life)

We played around with the self-timer...

And slept here...

It was kind of cold, but overall we had a blast!
