9 Months [Easton]

Easton hit the big 9 month mark yesterday!

At 9 months he....

Has 2 teeth

Says "dada"

Loves to play

Claps his hands

Is starting to give big open mouth kisses

Wiggle his arms when he gets excited or wants more food

Has waved hello a couple of times

Is not crawling. When we put him on his belly he just kicks his legs around.

Is still a little momma's boy

Loves baths. He splashes everywhere.

LOVES to eat. Anything and everything we will give him.

Is teething so he is a bit more fussy but he is still happy the majority of the time.

8 Months [Easton]

Our smiley boy hit the 8 month mark yesterday.

At 8 months he....

Cut his first tooth. Finally. It's been a long time coming.

Is kind of a mama's boy, but he basically loves everyone.

Still smiles constantly.

 Is working on his pincer grasp. He gets pretty focused when he tries to pick something up.

LOVES to eat pretty much anything I give him. We skipped baby foods and tried "baby led weaning" so far it has been awesome!

LOVES his big sister and thinks she is sooo funny.

Likes to play and be tickled. His favorite is being upside down.

Says "dada"

Has so much personality. We just love him.

6 Months [Easton]

The Eastonator hit 6 months on Sunday. Basically he loves life, and basically I love him. I cannot get enough of his chunky little legs, and I am obsessed with kissing his cheeks. Anyways, we took him to the doctor yesterday and he had to get 4 shots. No fun :( I sort of thought he was a big dude--turns out he's not so big (except for his head).

6 Month Stats...

At 6 months he.....

Is still super happy and smiley.

Loves to talk. Most of the time it's a squawk that sounds like a sick bird.

Can sit up by himself for short periods of time.

Likes to play with his toys.

Shoves everything in his mouth.

Isn't much of a mover. He pretty much just stays wherever I put him. No rolling, or scooting.

Thinks Addie is pretty funny.
Likes to suck on his bottom lip.

Is starting to be a little more picky with his food.

Has the stinkiest poop on the face of this planet. Seriously, it's nasty.

Takes two long naps (around 2 hours) and one short nap every day.

Sleeps through the night.

Goes to sleep on his own. In his bed, his swing, or his car seat.

Loves his blankets (swaddle blankets)... mostly he likes them in his face.

Puts his arms up when he wants to be picked up.

Is such and easy, sweet baby. We are so lucky he is ours!

I would normally do a 6 month photo shoot, but we are getting family pics done next week so I will just use those. That and he's not very good at sitting up yet so these will have to work....

Preschool [Addie]

Little Miss had her first day of preschool today. She has been waiting for this day for a very, very long time. We went to an ice cream party to meet her teacher a couple of weeks ago and she was devastated that I stayed with her. This morning on the drive over she said, "Mom, are you going to leave me this time?" She was so glad that I said yes. (Little stinker) Although she did say she would miss me. (Thanks babes)

When I got her out of the car she actually took the time to give me a hug and a kiss and then she RAN in the door waving goodbye on her way. She is my little social butterfly and she LOVES kids so this will be so good for her! She hasn't stopped talking about her teacher since she's been home.

5 Months [Easton]

At 5 Months he.....

Finally rolled over (belly to back) a couple days ago.

Smiles constantly! Happiest. baby. ever.

Pretty sure his bottom tooth is starting to come in. He shoves everything in his mouth.

LOVES having his blanket in his face. Like all up in his grill. Makes me nervous at night... I have to check on him a lot.

Is sleeping in his crib now.

Is really good at falling asleep on his own. (as long as he has a blanket to shove in his face)

Has tried sweet potatoes, peaches, squash, and apples. Didn't love the peaches, but liked all the others.

His 3-6 month clothes are getting pretty snug.

Is wearing size 2 diapers.

Is starting to spit up a lot.

Usually goes 10 hours at night.

Goes 3-4 hours between eating during the day.

Likes watching his sister. He laughs at her a lot.

Has starting standing on his legs a little bit, but is pretty awkward about it.

Is such an easy baby.

We love him lots and lots!!!!

4 Months [Easton]

Little man hit 4 months yesterday. I just love this little dude so much. He is such an easy, fun, happy baby. We took him in for his checkup today and he had to get more shots, but he was a trooper! Barely even cried.

4 month stats...

At 4 months he.....

Smiles all the time

Is ticklish

Is starting to last a little longer with his tummy time.

Rolled over from belly to back twice, but I think it was a fluke because he won't do it again.

Rolls half way from back to belly.

We finally got him to take a bottle and now he prefers that over breastfeeding.

Loves his hands and has them in house mouth constantly.

Doesn't really stand up, but according to the doctor, it just means he's grown out of the reflex.

Was sleeping 10-12 hours at night, but just started waking up 1 to 2 times a night.

Loves Addie and will just sit and stare at her. Sometimes he laughs at her.

Rubs his eyes when he gets sleepy.

Loves his bath, but not when I wash his face.

Is wearing 3-6 month clothes.

Is in size 1 diapers.

3 Months [Easton]

Is totally intrigued by his hands and feet.

Loves to smile.

Is really ticklish.

Goes at least 7 hours every single night.

Won't take a bottle or a binky.

Hates tummy time -- only lasts a couple minutes.

Is a slobbery little dude.

Is super mellow and content just kicking around most of the time.
Is not very cuddly. He's pretty stiff and holds his head up most of the time.

Isn't a huge fan of his carseat.
Is starting to talk and laugh a lot more.
Had to start letting him "cry it out" so he would fall asleep on his own. It's actually worked pretty well so far.
He loves when people talk to him. He will smile almost every single time.
Is such a happy and mellow little guy. We sure do love him!

Three.

Three Year Stats...

Weight: 28 lbs (22nd percentile)

Height: 37 inches (50th percentile)

At three years she....

Loves kids and people in general.

Is not shy at all.

Loves to watch movies.

Loves to dance.

Knows the words to lots of the songs on the radio. It always surprises me how many she knows.

Sings "Timber" by Kesha like a boss.

Loves to play pretend.

Loves princesses, dress ups, fairies, cowgirls, sparkles, and all things girly.

But likes to dress like a boy. Sometimes she thinks she is one.

Thinks that all things prior to right now happened "yhesssterdaay" (yesterday, but she says it way cuter)

Likes picnics and going to the park.

Can sing her ABC's. Not perfect yet, but close.

Can count to 14.

Likes to draw circles and squares.

Still isn't the best eater, but she's actually getting a tiny bit better.

Her hair did this weird thing where it all fell out or broke off. Not sure what happened exactly, but it is growing back now and she has a pretty rad mullet going on. 

Remembers everything and picks up on everything that we say. Unless we are asking her to do something, then she miraculously has no idea what we are talking about.

Likes to get herself dressed. Wants to wear her "big dress" every. single. day.

Doesn't like to be left out when I take pictures of Easton. If she see's me snapping pics she will run over and jump in.

Is such a good big sister and does a pretty good job at helping me out with stuff.

Drives me crazy some most of the time, but the times she isn't driving me nuts she totally makes up for it. She is so sweet and caring and has such a sensitive little heart. I couldn't love her more! So lucky to have her as my little buddy.

So I had something totally different planned for these pictures. But her crazy hair didn't want to cooperate so I will try my other idea later. 

This dress is her absolute favorite. Its a good thing it's cute because she ALWAYS wants to wear it. So I figured it was perfect for her pictures! 

It was next to impossible to get her to look at the camera without making a crazy face so she's looking away in most of them, but that's ok. They are 100% Adelaide.

Two Months [Easton]

At two months he...

Loves to sleep. I have to wake him up almost every time to eat.

Has gone 8+ hours at night 5 times now (told you he loves to sleep)

Eats like a champ.

Hates binky's. Like is totally disgusted every time I try to give him one,

but he loves to suck on his hand

Loves his swing

Is totally content to just lay on the floor and kick around most of the time

Is getting over a case of thrush and now has a tiny bit of cradle cap

Is kind of a mama's boy (but what baby isn't at this age?)

only poops every 3-4 days and it is stinky

Smiles and talks whenever anyone talks to him

Blessed.

We blessed Easton on Easter sunday. All of Ray's brothers were in town for the surprise party so we figured it would be a good time. It was so nice to have all of them there to stand in the circle. Talk about some serious priesthood power. The spirit in the room was so strong. Ray gave a beautiful blessing that talked about how many people Easton has that love him and a lot about service. It was a beautiful day and I am so thankful for all the family members that came. A big thanks to Marie for letting us have it at her house and for all of her help getting everything ready.

Easter.

We were in St. George for Easter staying at Ron and Marie's house with Russ and Denise.

We stayed up pretty late the night before, so once we finally had all the kids awake we rounded them up and away they went! Then it was time to get ready for Easton's blessing...
