These pictures aren't all that exciting, but I had to throw some in of little miss opening her Christmas even PJ's. I didn't even get a picture of her wearing them until the next morning. Oh well. I did put a little book about Jesus in there too. She was pretty excited to read it with Grammy.

Christmas Eve... Live Nativity.
Last year one of my mom's friends had a live nativity at her barn in New Harmony. We took Addie and thought it was so darn cute. This year, the friend was out of town for the holidays, so we borrowed her cutest little donkey ever and did our own... Right on my parents front lawn! And can I just tell you that it was the most adorable thing in the history of 300 East christmas eves. We invited all the neighbor kids to join in on the action and they spread the word to all the neighbors. We had a really good turnout. And despite some less than satisfactory rehearsals, the kids did great! Afterwards, Kenny busted out his guitar and we sang some Christmas songs. Definitely got us in the right mood for Christmas.
Christmas Eve... Bowling.
As per our normal tradition, the whole fam damily headed out to the bowling alley for a little Christmas Eve bowling. And as per the norm, we had a blast! This year Santa even showed up!!

Cookie Exchange.
This year my Aunt Jo had her 2nd annual cookie exchange party.
We started out the night by loading up on hot chocolate and wassail, and driving around the neighborhood to look at lights.
They had the flat bed (sleigh) decorated so cute. It even came equipped with Santa and Rudolph.
After we froze our butts off for awhile we headed back and warmed up with lots of yummy soup and cookies. Such a fun night!
Don't even worry that Ray makes a stupid face in almost every picture he takes. He can't help it.

Vegas.
My Grandma was in Vegas for Christmas this year. So the weekend before, my mom, Addie, and I went down to spend some time with her and to get some last minute Christmas shopping done.
We started the night out with the flower room at the Bellagio, and the water show. Addie loved it, and she insisted that we get a picture with Spongebob. After that we grabbed some dinner and then found a place to get some much needed pedicures. The next day we hit up the mall and headed home.
It was such a fun weekend, and it was nice to spend time with Grandma Jackie. We just love her.
Four generations....
Waiting in line to pay for her candy with her very own "dollars"... The scale ended up being broken so the lady gave them to her for free, but at least she tried.

Snow Angels.
Adders loves the snow. She always wants to play in it, but mostly she just loves to eat it.
This year she figured out how to make snow angels. So when we finally got some snow up here we bundled up and made snow angel after snow angel after snow angel. Seriously, our backyard was full.
Lots of beautiful angels to watch over us!

Tuesday Tidbits.
- I am now 27 weeks pregnant. This pregnancy has been a breeze compared to Addie's. It seems like it is going by so fast!
- Ray is managing the Albertsons pharmacy in Payette. It is about 45 minutes from where we live. He has to commute every day, but so far it hasn't been so bad.
- Addie is 2 1/2 and is constantly cracking us up. Her favorite word is "awkward" and she will just will just shout it out at random times. "Awwwwkkwaaarrddd!"
- My Grandma made us an advent calendar and Addie gets to open a present every day. She absolutely loves it. It is the first thing she asks to do every morning.
- We started doing the elf on the shelf this year. Our elf is named "Wizzmer". We have another elf that is just for decoration that Addie named "Dorris"
- Addie likes to watch "golf ball" (football) with her dad. She yells whatever he yells at the TV and is really good at saying "Huzzdown!" (Ray and is buddies word for touchdown)
- Addie has been really cute with this new baby. She always talks about "baby brother" and will randomly put her hand on my belly to try and feel him move.
- She loves to sing. Her favorite song is "Royals" by Lorde. She knows a lot of the words and sings it every time it comes on the radio. She tries to sing every other song too, even if she doesn't know the words.
- She loves to say prayers and tries to say them on her own all the time. At thanksgiving dinner we told her to fold her arms because we were going to say prayers... she just went for it and said it all by herself. Best. prayer. ever.
- She loves being a princess. She puts her princess dress on whenever she gets a chance and spins around. Anytime I put a dress on her, she says "I'm a princess!"

Halloween 2013.
This year for Halloween we killed Creepy Carl and ate him for dinner.... ;)
Then, of course, we went trick-or-treating. Addie loved every minute. She kept saying "buzz buzz" and pretending to sting her cousins.
Our costumes were a hit too. Even though ray's was a touch too small. One lady even told him that "his commitment to Adelaide was outstanding." Way to go, Ray!
