Looks like?

Ever since Addie was born people have told us that she looks exactly like me, or exactly like Ray.

We've even been told she looks like my little brother, Casey. (Not so sure about that)

We can't decide.

I kind of think she has my eyes, but looks more like Ray in everything else. 

She definitely has Ray's crazy hair.

What do you think?

And last, but not least...... Addie's final Michigan outfit.

She wore this for the Ohio State game. Michigan's biggest rival.

Michigan won for the first time in 8 years.

Thanksgiving.

We had Thanksgiving with Ray's family this year and it was a lot of fun. 

We stuffed our faces with lots of yummy food, watched some football, and then headed out for some black friday shopping.

We didn't want Addie to miss out so before dinner we gave her some Sweet Potatoes and Turkey.

Yum.

Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving!

This is what happens when I let my parents take over dinnertime...

 Things get a bit messy.....

Yardwork.

We went outside to help Grandma do some yardwork.

It was kind of chilly so we made sure we bundled up.

Seven Months.

Addie is seven months old today.

She is still just as sweet as ever!

We were wrapping a present for a baby shower and Addie was having lots of fun with the ribbon.

At seven months she......

Now says dada. All day long. So not fair.

Is about a half a second away from crawling.

She can go in circles and backwards, she just hasn't figured out the forward part yet. 

Any day now.

Loves animals. She can't keep her eyes off of them.

Still doesn't have any teeth. I thought she would for sure have at least one by now.

Only nurses once a day.

Is around 16lbs. It changes every time we weigh her.
Wears mostly 6-12 or 6-9 month clothes, but still fits into most of her 3-6 month clothes.

Loves kids.

She especially loves all the attention she gets from all her little cousins. They just love her.

Went through a "stranger danger" phase there for a minute, but she is getting better.

Has started doing this new thing where she purses her lips together. It's like she knows she sassy.

I'll get a picture of it soon.

Has such a fun little personality. She cracks us up all the time!

Is absolutely loved to pieces!!

Hair Cut??

So... This morning Ray and I were sitting on the bed discussing how crazy Adelaide's hair is becoming.

It pokes up in the back. Big time. With random strands of hair flying all over the place.

I'm not quite sure what to do with it and I may have mentioned that we should get some scissors and even it out a bit.

Bad idea.

This gave Ray the grand idea to even it out with some clippers. 

Before I could stop it, it was done.

Let's just say it doesn't look bad. But it doesn't look good either.

Oh well, it will grow back, I suppose.

The Hat.

My Grandma Ardis made Addie the cutest hat.

We just love it.

We can't get over how stinkin' cute she looks in it!

We were glad we had it, too. 

While we were in Cedar we took an emergency trip up to Hogsheaven.

It was supposed to snow and we still had cows up there.

This cute little hat kept Addie nice and warm.

Now we just have to work on the way Ray holds her when we're walking down the road.
