Happy Last Day of 2010

Our Christmas

Last post about Christmas, I promise. We had a truly great holiday, it was nice to relax a bit and just enjoy every moment. It's so magical watching Elly get excited about Santa and Nick (a elf who leaves treats in her shoe while she's out). Her little face just lights up! Christmas Eve we left Santa some cookies and milk. We left the reindeer a carrot and some Mt Dew...they need fuel to haul that sleigh after all.

Christmas morning we actually woke up before her...I think every year actually we have done this. Well maybe except her first Christmas when she was 6 months old. HA! We get just as excited. Any who, Santa gave her everything she wanted, because she was a super good girl. Jon had a hard time not buying for her...okay, okay so did I. Damn Target.
That puggle is Nina, we were dog sitting for my boss. She is the sweetest little puppy, but boy are puppies a lot of work and we were sad to see her go. Except Jon.

All in all a great Christmas, Nana Joan and Papa Ray came later that day and spoiled El some more and enjoyed dinner and dessert with us. We are truly blessed to have such great friends and family who love us. Now here's to a brand new year! 2011 watch out!

Ballet Class

Last week Elly had her last ballet class. Parents were aloud to watch the last practice and I snapped some pictures.

Kick! We'll see if we sign up for the next session...Elly still isn't impressed with the outfits.

Santa Visit

Elly's school had a Holiday Party last Friday, filled with lots of fun things...movies in the library, crafts in the art room (naturally) and even Santa came to visit. Elly made Santa a very pretty picture, it included lots of glitter, ribbon and stickers.
The one thing Elly wants more then anything is a kitten...but Santa, Mommy and Daddy have all talked and ummm ya not going to happen.

We just got Tinkerbell in the mail too...she's so pretty and she changes colors! I think I like her more then Elly.

Now I sit in my snow covered toaster

It's been snowing for...ummmm...crud I lost count, all I know is that they say it's not stopping until Thursday. Well it is December and it'll be really neat to have a white Christmas but still, I'm cold. ~Whine~
