Really interesting thing I've just noticed about myself... when I'm in writing space (as now) I really want to be listening to music all the time. The rest of the time I can take it or leave it. And while I'm listening away, I find plot bunnies in the songs!
Haven't written much in the last eighteen months and tonight, listening to music while typing fic, I realised I listen in quite a different way - and have to keep annotating my bunny-list!
Typing up all this fic of mine, I've realised at least three quarters are based on song starters... Found an old bunnylist from several years ago in my notebooks too, and they are ALL song-lines.
Maybe music and writing centres in the brain are connected?

I know this was a month ago that you posted this, but I'm still reading any Riptide I find at AO3, so more is always welcome.
